Nagoya Shoryudo 5 Days 4 Nights Hot Spring Tour
✨Overview of the itinerary:
Day1 Nagoya-Hirayu day2 Hirayu-Shinhotaka day3 Shinhotaka-Takayama day4 Takayama day5 Takayama-Nagoya
✨Day1 Nagoya-Hirayu Accommodation: Hirayu Onsen Hotel
Take the 10 o'clock bus to Takayama in the morning. The journey takes 2.5 hours. Get off at Takayama Nohi Bus Terminal. Buy a 3-day pass including Shinhotaka Cable Car (7500 yen per person). Then you can take the bus to Hirayu according to the schedule. It will arrive in half an hour and check in at 3 o'clock. I booked a tatami room with one night and two meals. After arriving, I can soak in the hot springs, have dinner, and rest in the hotel! There's not much to do around Hirayu, be sure to book an interesting hotel + restaurant.
✨Day2 Hirayu-Shinhotaka Accommodation: Yamano hoel
After checking out at 11am, head to Shinhotaka Hotel (0.5 hour drive). Yamano Hot Spring Hotel is recommended, with the station right outside the door. The weather was nice and check-in was not until 3 o'clock, so after putting down my luggage I headed for the Shinhotaka Ropeway. We played until 3 o'clock and returned to the hotel, just in time to check in, soak in the hot springs, have dinner, and rest in the hotel.
✨Day3 Shinhotaka-Takayama Accommodation: Takayama Sakuan
A hot spring hotel with a very high cost performance. After arriving, we went to Gaoshan Old Street to eat handmade soba noodles, and then strolled around the old street today. The old street is interesting, with many boutiques and sake drinking shops, and the blind box sake cup tasting is here.
✨Day4 Takayama One-day Tour Accommodation: Takayama Sakuran
Originally planned to go to Shirakawa-go, but after reading the reviews, I decided to give up and choose Takayama One-day Tour: Miyagawa Morning Market-Takayama Jinya-Hie Shrine-Hida Folk Village
✨Day5 Takayama-Nagoya
Special Recommendation:
❄️❄️If you feel that you change hotels too frequently, you can stay in a hot spring hotel in Shin-Hotaka for 2 nights, because Shin-Hotaka has a cable car to play. I highly recommend the hotels I stayed in. The accommodation was nice, the food was good, and the price/performance ratio was good.
❄️❄️I stayed in the annex of Hirayu, Shinyama Sakuraan Hirayu, which is about 1,000 cheaper than the main building, but you can also go to the main building (just next door) to experience the hot springs, which is very nice!
