Growing up in Wales I always loved to spend the weekend in Tenby, whenever the weather was nice we would jump in the car and head down. Tenby is just under 2 hours drive from the capital Cardiff and is a stunning seaside town perfect for family trips. Tenby is famous for its beaches, colourful houses, fish and chips and of course the laid back lifestyles perfect for family holidays. The area has plenty of stunning beaches and natural spots perfect for surfing, swimming, exploring and hiking. For the more adventurous there are sailing activities, fishing trips and organised hikes. There’s something for everyone and it really is a perfect holiday spot for families, especially for young children. Trip to Tenby. Lovely beach and castle. Great history. Adventure park and zoo nearby were great. Cute cafes and independents. Really is a beautiful place. The sort of place you could spend a few days but not a whole week. We strayed for 3 nights. 10 min walk from the beach. Very quiet spot but not far from amenities. Worth a visit for sure. We didn’t have a car at the time but managed without.

A small town in the southwest of Wales, UK, the weather is very beautiful and the sea water is very clear. Simply seafood is cheap, the lobster burger is meaty and only £9 Fish and chips are cheap and delicious. Scampi lobster balls are recommended. They are delicious while hot.
