After the holiday, a day had passed and I seized the opportunity to travel to Pattaya when most people had already returned from their trips. Taking advantage of the post-holiday lull, the journey from Bangkok to Pattaya took a mere 2 hours. As I drove, I stumbled upon a fascinating rest area halfway through the trip. This rest area boasted ample parking spaces, along with a diverse range of food stalls offering Thai, Chinese, Indian, and even Western cuisine. Whether one craved desserts, drinks, or coffee, there were numerous shops to cater to every taste. Additionally, a gas station was conveniently located nearby. It seemed like the perfect place to take a break and refuel both the car and myself. For those in need of stretching their legs or using the restroom, there was the added benefit of free parking and restroom facilities. This rest area, known as the motorway rest area, was easily noticeable and accessible.
