A Luxurious Experience at Siem Reap's Heritage Suites Hotel
For this trip, we chose to stay at Siem Reap's Heritage Suites Hotel, located on Heritage Road near Wat Polanka, Slokram Village. As soon as we got off the plane, a vintage Mercedes was waiting to pick us up. It was so cool! The drive from the airport to the hotel took about half an hour, and there was free Wi-Fi in the car, which was very thoughtful.
The hotel's location is super convenient, not far from Angkor Wat and the Old Market. You can easily get there by tuk-tuk. The hotel's overall decor is very boutique, with tropical plants and flowers everywhere, making you feel like you're in a tropical garden. The front desk staff were super friendly and explained the hotel's services and facilities in detail. They also provided a private inquiry service via WhatsApp, which made us feel very reassured.
Now, let's talk about the room experience! We stayed in a Saffron Double Room with a private pool. The room was truly large and beautiful, with floor-to-ceiling glass facing the pool. It was super luxurious and beautiful. The sofa in the room was under a skylight, and when the sunlight came in, lying on the sofa felt super healing. The walk-in closet, bathtub, wooden floor, and sauna in the room were all very clean and pleasant, and there was a free minibar every day, which was really great!
Now, let me recommend some great places around the hotel! There are quite a few nice restaurants nearby, such as Temple Skylounge Pubstreet, Western Tribes Bar, Embassy Restaurant, Kroya by Chef Chanrith, Haven, and WILD - Creative Bar & Spring Rolls Restaurant. Food lovers should definitely try them!
Finally, let's briefly mention some drawbacks. Although the hotel facilities are very complete, sometimes the jacuzzi may have some minor issues. Also, the hotel is a bit hidden, and some tuk-tuk drivers may have trouble finding it. It's a good idea to carry a hotel business card with you.
Overall, this Heritage Suites Hotel is just perfect! Not only is the environment beautiful, but the service is also thoughtful, and the rooms and food are amazing. If we come back to Siem Reap in the future, we will definitely stay here again without hesitation. Highly recommended to everyone!
