Formerly known as "Sheliao Island," it is an island located in Zhongzheng District, northeast of Keelung Port. It is the first place in northern Taiwan where Westerners set foot, and it is also the first place where Han Chinese settled in Keelung. Due to long-term weathering erosion and wave impact, unique geological landforms such as mushroom-shaped rocks, tofu rocks, and sea erosion platforms have formed on the coast, like a sculpture art gallery. The ten rocks with special shapes are Pig Head Rock, Sphinx Rock, Seal Rock, Mudskipper Rock, Sea Hare Rock, as well as Diamond Rock, Pharaoh Rock, Crocodile Tears Rock, Black Kite Rock and Leopard Rock located in the secret Alabao Bay.Nine recommended scenic spots | Mountain trail | The total length is about 400 meters, with a panoramic view along the heights of Heping Island Geopark.
