🎈When I no longer insist on taking stunning photos for my social media, when checking in is no longer the purpose of my trip, when walking on this road becomes my only intention, I truly feel an unprecedented lightness, my whole body and mind relax, and a sense of freedom from the bottom of my heart spreads unrestrainedly. 🌳I plunge into the embrace of the mountains and forests, as if I instantly become a part of nature. In my ears, the chickens, ducks, geese, and dogs in the village are crowing and barking, playing the prelude to a simple life; under my feet, the snow is stepped on and makes a rustling sound, like a winter whisper; the gurgling stream meanders by, breaking the silence of the mountains and forests; and the waterfall, as if frozen by magic, with interlaced icicles, glistens in the sunlight, like white sugar sprinkled, crystal clear and dazzling. 🌲On this journey, I focus on the physical challenge of traversing the mountains and forests, without having to squeeze in with people and wait in long lines at popular check-in spots, and without having to rack my brains to study photo poses and carefully calculate how to take good photos. All the worries are left behind at the entrance to the mountains, and at this moment, I enjoy this undisturbed freedom, pure and beautiful.

Setting out from Liaoyang Station, it only takes an hour's drive to reach this earthly paradise. There are few tourists on Monday, perhaps because we chose a peaceful afternoon, the three o'clock sunshine sprinkles across the mountains, accompanied only by the chirping of birds and the babbling of the stream. We exchange smiles, silently thinking to ourselves: this is where our souls belong. Strolling along the mountain paths, with the sound of the stream, our steps feel exceptionally light. The whole journey takes about two hours, and although the mountain roads are rugged, they are not difficult to navigate. The scenery along the way is picturesque and breathtaking, with small waterfalls bringing bursts of coolness, refreshing the mind and spirit. For friends coming from afar, there is a homestay called 'Pear Garden' with an elegant environment and full of character. It is reported that the accommodation costs about 90 yuan per day, including three meals. Another more upscale homestay costs around 300 yuan per day (subject to actual conditions). As a local, I naturally do not need to stay, but if there are friends visiting from other places, this place is definitely worth a visit. I heard that Hekou Valley has distinct seasons, especially in autumn, when the mountains are ablaze with red leaves, surely making one linger and forget to return.
