Hehu New Residence, located at No. 21, Xinrui Road, Longgang District, Shenzhen (near Nanlian Metro Station), is one of the largest Hakka walled village complexes in China and the best-preserved and most representative of the more than 300 existing Hakka walled houses in Shenzhen. Hehu New Residence was first built during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. It covers a total area of ​​25,000 square meters. It faces northeast from the southwest and is composed of two inner and outer rings. The floor plan is in the shape of a Chinese character "U". There are more than 300 guest rooms in total, and it can accommodate more than a thousand people at most. The half-moon-shaped pool in front of the courtyard house is also a highlight, reflecting the traditional design concept of "the sky is round and the earth is square".
