Shenzhen | Order and Symbiosis: Hungarian Female Artists Joint Exhibition - Flora Borsi
I like Flora Borsi's art photography. I must have seen it somewhere before, so I always have a sense of déjà vu.
These surrealist works have a unique style, bright colors, and strong visual effects and artistic appeal, making them unforgettable, like a beautiful melody that lingers in your mind.
If you look closely at her work, you will see beautiful people and cute little animals getting along well. It seems to convey an emotion and an attitude to us, that animals and humans are essentially the same, with almost identical eyes, and eyes are the windows to the soul, so they also have almost the same emotions as humans. So, how should humans choose to get along with them?
The saying "women are like flowers" has been around since ancient times. There are many famous poems in Chinese poetry, and the most famous one may be "The clouds think of clothes, the flowers think of beauty, and the spring breeze brushes the threshold and the dew is thick." Using flowers to dress up beautiful women is a perfect match. In Flora's works, women's faces are surrounded by flowers, not in a Chinese style of elegance, but with a strong personality, cold and proud. This is the different effect caused by the changes of the times and the cultural differences between the East and the West.
The story of Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai turning into butterflies is well known. Butterflies are a symbol of beautiful love in China. The butterflies in Flora's works are beautiful but flamboyant, appearing extremely rebellious. Does this also reflect the individual freedom advocated by Western culture?
Excellent works of art either inspire people's thoughts and resonate with them, or give people a beautiful sensory experience and spiritual enjoyment. I think Flora Borsi is such an outstanding creator and disseminator of beauty.
