2025 Playa del Ingles Travel Guide: Must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transportation routes (updated in May)

Barcelo Margaritas Hotel in Playa del Ingles, Maspalomas, Gran Canaria offers a chance to live a little better than average. The hotel itself is quite basic but the Royal Level offers a chance to enjoy your vacation a little more. The Royal Level service includes some little perks as the exclusive breakfast restaurant outside near the pool. I have to say that the breakfast is excellent. The hotel has been renovated just recently and the rooms are still in very good shape. The style is quite Nordic. I definitely recommend it over the basic rooms of Barcelo Margaritas which is more like a basic experience. The Royal Level is much better. #beachlife #canaryislands #Maspalomas

Took a 5 night trip to the Parque Cristóbal in #playadelingles #grancanaria in reality the hotel is well back from the beach but also on the edge of Maspalomas so you can access both easily. Free shuttle to the beach provided. The hotel itself was brilliant for #families low rise accommodation in self contained bungalows, pools all heated when not in peak summer season. Food and drink pretty much available all day. All inclusive beer wine soft drinks and hot drinks are plentiful and you serve yourself. The pool facilities for adults and kids are brilliant. Loads of sun beds even during school holidays and always plenty of space available. Nice towels provided for a deposit also. Staff were brilliant the whole place seemed really safe and play areas and a kids club looked great too. We loved this place and I don’t often say that about family hotels but I’d definitely go back. Loads of food options and kids will always find something suitable to eat.

Best budget hotel very close to Playa del Ingles in Gran Canaria. The rooms are modest, although very clean. The swimming pool is amazing for a 3 star hotel (more like a 5 star hotel pool). I recommend staying here #playadelingles #grancanaria #beach

The warmth of the sun on our skin, the sound of the waves crashing nearby – this beach day was pure bliss. Relaxing side-by-side on our loungers, sharing stories and laughter, it was a perfect reminder of why we love spending these moments together. The carefree atmosphere and the beautiful surroundings created a truly special and rejuvenating experience. Just us, the sand, and the sea – a little slice of paradise.
