Hauptstrasse starts at Bismarckplatz in the west and ends at Karlsplatz in the east. The 1.6 km pedestrian street is one of the longest pedestrian streets in Europe. The road is paved with cobblestones, narrow and winding, and dates back to the Middle Ages. The buildings on both sides of the street are of various architectural styles, not only with a long history but also well-preserved, which is a feast for the eyes.
