Haukland Beach is located 10 kilometers north of Leknes, about 15 minutes by car, and many classic photos of Lofoten come from here. The sand of the beach is very fine and the water is clear, but the waves are a bit high, so you need to pay attention to safety. To the north of the beach is a hillside with no obvious hiking trails, but it is not too difficult to climb, overlooking the beach and the rolling hills in the distance as well as the spectacular coastline.
