Temple No. 28 Hashidate-do
Hashidate-do is the 28th temple of the Thirty-Four Holy Sites of Chichibu, located in Chichibu City, Saitama Prefecture. It is a historic temple that has been visited by many pilgrims since ancient times. The main image is the only "stone-carved Jizo Bodhisattva" in Japan, and it is also known as a sacred place of Jizo faith. Behind Hashidate-do is a natural cave, surrounded by rock walls and characterized by a mysterious atmosphere. This cave is also used as a place of training, and gives visitors deep silence and peace of mind.

Hashidate-do is about a 15-minute walk from Urayamaguchi Station on the Chichibu Railway. It can also be accessed by bus from Chichibu City.
