[Gunma Prefecture/Haruna Shrine] I'm glad I went in 2023! Shrines in Gunma Prefecture ③
One of Japan's 🗾 most powerful spots!
As you walk along the long approach to the shrine, you'll notice that it is surrounded by strangely shaped rocks🪨🙌
When you pass through the Zuishinmon Gate, the atmosphere changes completely.
You'll feel like your back is naturally straightened.
On the way back, we encountered a wild deer🦌😳
After worshiping, we had some delicious soba noodles🥢 at a restaurant near the Zuishinmon Gate🙏

❥❥History
During the reign of Emperor Suizei, the son of Nigihayahi-no-Mikoto, Kaminomata-no-Mikoto, and his son built a sacred fence in the mountains to worship the gods of heaven and earth.
The site of the ceremony was founded in 586.
The main shrine, the offering hall, the worship hall, as well as the Zuishinmon and Soryumon gates are all designated as important cultural properties by the national government.
The Yatate cedar is a national natural monument.
There is much to see within the grounds, attracting many worshippers!
The strangely shaped rocks that can be seen here and there are truly impressive. ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ ❁ ❁ ❁┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈
