【Staycation in Hong Kong】Sharing the accommodation and dining experience at Harbour Grand Hong Kong|Executive Suite with Unparalleled Sea View|The best choice for birthday celebrations
When staying in Hong Kong, would you choose the city or the suburbs?
Personally, I prefer the city area. I especially like to see the night view of Hong Kong from my hotel room, because the night view of Hong Kong is really something you never get tired of!
What I want to share today is a coastal hotel located in Fortress Hill - Harbour Grand Hong Kong, which is close to the Eastern Corridor. You can see the East Coast Park theme area up close, and the scenery of Central, Wan Chai and West Kowloon in Hong Kong Island from a distance!
I was lucky enough to be upgraded to an executive suite for free when I checked in. Since it was my birthday celebration, I was also given a bottle of red wine!
The long staircase in the hotel lobby is very impressive. It is wide and large, and is very suitable for taking photos with the bride and groom, brothers and sisters when picking up the bride at a wedding!
The building is 41 stories high, and floors 8 to 40 are all guest rooms. I remember that we were arranged to the executive suite on the 10th floor. Later we found out that this was also a going-out suite. I vaguely remember that a friend had gone out here before!
As soon as I opened the door, the restroom was on the left. I saw that the restroom had doors on two sides, so I naturally walked towards the restroom, passed through the restroom and came to the bathroom!
Wow! The bathroom is super big, with a big bathtub. Bath salts are also provided. It would be a waste not to take a bath!
In addition to a large bathtub, the bathroom also has a large shower room, two washbasins and a makeup area, and is fully stocked with toiletries!
Walking out of the bathroom and into the bedroom, there is a picture of Hong Kong International Airport hanging on the wall. It feels like I’ve just come back from a trip!
The room is so comfortable, with a TV, a double bed, a large wardrobe and a safe, etc. There are also two stools behind the bed, which is a bonus if you don't want to sit directly on the bed!
The view from the room is mainly facing the commercial building, and most of the commercial building opposite is transparent floor-to-ceiling glass. I can see the opposite side very clearly, and the opposite side should be fine, so it is safer to keep the curtains in the room closed!
Walking from the room to the living room ~ Wow ~ it’s so big!
There is a long sofa and coffee table on one side, and a large round stool and office space on the other side. The key point is that the entire living room has nearly 180 degrees of floor-to-ceiling windows, making it an executive suite with an unparalleled sea view!
The view from the living room is really first-class, you can see Central, Wan Chai and West Kowloon in Hong Kong Island!
In addition, there is a built-in TV and a semi-open kitchen design on the other side of the living room, equipped with a microwave oven, refrigerator, beverage cabinet, etc., which is very suitable for holding parties!
The hotel package itself includes afternoon snacks + evening cocktails + Harbour Grand Café buffet dinner + breakfast, which can be said to be 4 meals in total!
Afternoon snacks and evening cocktails were both served at Le188° restaurant on the 41st floor. The view from the restaurant was in the same direction as that from our room, just at a different height. Unfortunately, the weather was not very good that day and we were not sitting near the window, so we just took pictures of the food!
The afternoon snacks include 3 savory snacks and 3 desserts, the taste is normal!
For evening cocktails, you can choose alcoholic drinks, cocktails or mocktails. We chose Cocktail - Nothing, which has a slight pineapple flavor and a low alcohol content, and tastes good! In addition, some snacks are provided with the wine, mostly salty and fried food. Personally, I think the afternoon snacks are more attractive, but the evening cocktails, cocktails are the focus!
After drinking evening cocktails, we chose to return to the room to enjoy the sunset, because the view from the room was better than that from the restaurant. It was cloudy that day and we didn’t expect to see the sunset. Fortunately, there was a short period of time before dark when we saw the sky behind the clouds clear up!
Personally, my favorite is the night view of Hong Kong. Although the weather was murky during the day, the view at night was very clear!
After enjoying the night view, go to Harbour Grand Café to enjoy the cafe’s buffet dinner for two!
Wow! There are so many seafoods~ both raw and cooked. I couldn’t help but eat a few rounds before moving on to the hot food. There are oysters and Peking duck!
This meal mainly consists of seafood, and of course at the end there are desserts, fruits and ice cream, which is very satisfying!
Free buffet breakfast from 7:00am to 10:00am, also available at Harbour Grand Café!
The breakfast buffet has Chinese and Western styles. If you like Chinese food, you can have a bowl of porridge, rice rolls and dim sum, etc. If you like Western food, you can have croissants, double sausage omelette, hash browns, etc. I like to eat a lot for breakfast. The Chinese and Western food in the picture below, plus fruits and desserts after the meal, are all the breakfast I had that day XDD!
Overall, the accommodation and dining experience at Harbour Grand Hong Kong were very good, and it is definitely a great choice for birthday celebrations and encores!
