Wuhan Eye
Hanyang Ancient City Style District Urban Culture Exhibition Hall, also known as the 'Wuhan Eye', is located at the end of the Hanyang Ancient City Cultural Axis in Wuhan Riverside and will open on July 6, 2024.
The total construction area of the exhibition hall is about 2101 square meters, with a height of 24 meters and six floors. The exterior facade of the exhibition hall is made of transparent glass, with a slanted structure in the middle forming a giant red viewfinder, becoming a new landmark within Wuhan's inner ring.
A 12-meter-high giant 3D bird's-eye model of Wuhan is located on the first floor of the exhibition hall, showcasing the contours of the three towns of Wuhan, providing visitors with a macro perspective to understand the urban layout of Wuhan.
In the first-floor lobby, there is a photography exhibition that tells the city's memories of Wuhan through a series of old photos, allowing visitors to gain an in-depth understanding of Wuhan's local customs and historical culture.
The observation deck on the top floor offers visitors an excellent view of Wuhan's cityscape, including the Yangtze River and the prominent Xianzheng Street behind it. This is also a place to experience the profound cultural heritage of Wuhan. In the future, the top floor plans to set up a 'Day Cafe and Night Bar', where people can come to check in and enjoy the light show on both sides of the river at night.
Currently, it is open to the public for free. You can directly search for 'Wuhan Eye' on your mobile map, and there is free parking available downstairs.
