| An artistic treasure on Taoyuan Ridge. 🎨 In the serene area of Taoyuan Ridge in Hangzhou, there is a fascinating Han Meilin Art Museum.
Once you step into the museum, you will feel like you have entered a magical kingdom of art. Mr. Han Meilin's works come in various forms, including paintings, sculptures, and calligraphy, each exuding a unique charm. His animal paintings are vivid and lively, as if they are about to leap out of the canvas; the sculptures in different shapes have strong yet soft lines, carrying endless creativity and power.

Han Meilin Art Museum: An underrated treasure trove of art.
More than just the Buddha head! This art museum is worth a visit.
In addition to the must-see Buddha head installation, I recommend you take a good look around the Han Meilin Art Museum!
The Han Meilin Art Museum was completed in 2005, with a total construction area of 6,500 square meters. It has 7 exhibition halls and houses more than 2,000 works of art by Han Meilin.
The art museum has three floors. The first floor is the sculpture hall and special exhibition; the second floor has paintings, ceramics, and crafts; the third floor is the comprehensive hall. Each floor is full of unique artistic charm, making it hard to leave.
The sculptures here are truly unique, and the calligraphy and paintings are also extremely beautiful, with an overwhelming sense of art. The sculptures seem to tell many stories, and the light and aesthetics are vividly reflected.

Don't miss the Han Meilin Art Museum when viewing osmanthus at Hangzhou Botanical Garden.
When the osmanthus is in full bloom, Hangzhou Botanical Garden is a must-visit. The Han Meilin Art Museum is a hidden gem in the garden.
The most famous attraction in the Han Meilin Art Museum is the giant Buddha head sculpture in the courtyard. The giant Buddha head stands in the courtyard, surrounded by lush trees and osmanthus. The Buddha's eyes are lowered, and it has a gentle smile. It looks solemn and kind, and you will feel small standing in front of it.
There are many maple trees and osmanthus around the Buddha statue. When the osmanthus blooms in October, it is a great place to enjoy the flowers and take photos.

Amazing! A hidden niche art museum in Hangzhou Botanical Garden|Just in time for the early autumn bloom of the red spider lily
I heard that the Han Meilin Art Museum has a new exhibition called 'Xu Zhou Bu Xi', which showcases a city walk of West Lake during the Ming Dynasty, capturing the footprints left by scholars and poets of that era. The exhibition is based on 'Hushan Shenggai', mostly consisting of prints and rubbings, but it connects various cultural and historical sites of West Lake during the Ming Dynasty, leaving a profound impact after viewing.
What excites me even more is the permanent exhibition in the Han Meilin Art Museum. Han Meilin excels in arts and crafts, and the beauty of his artworks can be deeply felt by every visitor. Especially the famous Buddha head sculpture, which is a popular spot for photos at all times. To avoid the queue, I found some other sculptures in the museum to photograph, which are equally impressive.
The exhibition exceeded my expectations, featuring sculptures, calligraphy, large paintings, small paintings... everything you could ask for, all filled with personal style. One cannot help but admire Mr. Han Meilin as a truly versatile artist. His artworks convey a sense of life and power, restraint and freedom, dedication and self, abstract yet concrete, a very intriguing feeling.
The museum is located deep within the Hangzhou Botanical Garden, a very special location. The early autumn weather is slightly cooler, and the woods are filled with red spider lilies. The red spider lily, also known as Manjusaka, blooms without leaves, and when the leaves grow, the flowers are gone. Flowers and leaves never meet, always missing each other. But I feel that this is a continuous cycle, you bloom, I shed leaves, it is the continuation of life, inheritance, not separation.
【Some tips】The Han Meilin Art Museum is free and does not require a reservation, but the Botanical Garden charges an entrance fee of 10 yuan (free with the Hangzhou Park Card). Remember, the museum is closed every Tuesday, so don't make a wasted trip.

I heard that there is an art museum hidden in the botanical garden in Hangzhou, and there is a big Buddha head hidden in this art museum, which has now become a very popular internet celebrity check-in point. As someone living in Hangzhou, how could I not go and see.
Entering from the main entrance of the Hangzhou Botanical Garden, following the direction of the "Han Meilin Art Museum" on the sign, you can get there in about ten minutes.
Han Meilin is a highly influential contemporary Chinese genius artist. He has made outstanding achievements and contributions in the fields of fine arts, calligraphy, painting, sculpture, design, ceramics, etc. The Fuwa of the Beijing Olympics and the emblem of Air China were all from his hand.
The large Buddha head bronze sculpture outside is also his work. There are many tourists who check in here, some take panoramic shots from a distance, some take photos of the corridor on the second floor balcony of the art museum, and some take close-ups of the Buddha's face from the side.
The inside of the art museum will not disappoint you either, many of Mr. Han Meilin's works are on display here. There are calligraphy, paintings and small sculptures. You can take your time and look around.
