[Shizuoka] Winter at Hamanako Sakume Station on the Tenryu Hamanako Railway❄️
#SeasonalPlacesInJapan
In the winter, a certain creature comes to play at Hamanako Sakume Station on the Tenryu Hamanako Railway, which runs through Shizuoka Prefecture
It's the Yurikamome! 🕊
From December to February, many Yurikamome trains come to Hamanako Sakume Station every year!
I wondered if it was really true, so I visited last year and this year, but both times I was able to meet the Yurikamome trains and they sat on my head 🌟
At first I was quite scared, but it was pretty cute to see them sitting on my head ♡
How about a relaxing holiday where you can meet the Yurikamome trains and take a leisurely ride on the Tenryu Hamanako Railway 🚃𓈒 𓏸𓈒𓂂𓈒 𓂃

[Winter Travel in Hamamatsu] Stations where black-headed seagulls fly - You'll be amazed at the sheer number! Peak time is late January to February

▶️About 10 minutes by car from Mikkabi IC on the Shin-Tomei Expressway
▶️It's a small station with an average of less than 30 passengers per day, but it's popular as a station where a large number of black-headed gulls gather!
It was the perfect season, so it was a place I definitely wanted to go.
When visiting by car, look for the large cow toilet as a landmark.
When I entered the station platform...
I was stunned by the cries and the countless Yurikamome!
I waited for one or two trains per hour to take this photo.
The trains are amazing too. I wonder if all these Yurikamome trains
don't impair visibility.
▶️I found an old man feeding the seagulls with practiced hands.
Apparently, he starts feeding them at 10:32, 10:47, 14:27, and 14:47 when the train arrives.
Then a flock of seagulls surrounds the train.
Usually there are about 400 to 500 of them.
The peak is from late January to early February.
The colder the temperature, the more Yurikamome there are who can't get food.
At times, 700 to 800 black-headed gulls come...
When you feed them, the gulls land on your head...
It's a really funny sight😆😆😆
You can feed the gulls by purchasing seagull food (100 yen per bag) sold at the cafe "Katorea" attached to the station.
At first, I was a little scared, but once they got used to it, they flew towards the food I put out and ate it.
They even sat on my head...it was so cute😍
If I come to Hamamatsu again in the winter, I'll definitely stop by.

Only now! An emotional and scenic spot where you can take pictures of trains and seagulls 🚃𓈒𓂂𓏸 There are also points that you can only understand if you go there!
#Nature and Spectacular Views
I went to Lake Hamana Kurume Station😊It has become a popular spot for taking pictures of black-headed gulls and trains for several years now😊I will explain the points that you can only see if you have been there, so I would be happy if you save and like😊🕊️Since it is a winter bird, the best time to see it is from November to March. The colder the weather, the more birds gather, so many will come from now on♡Parking problem. The parking lot is at the station, so only about 10 cars can be parked. It is a popular spot, so it is difficult to park your car, but if you have time, you can park your car at the next station and take the train! You can also take videos from the train😊※There is only one train per hour! There is no coin parking lot nearby (there is one 4.5 km away). There is someone who feeds black-headed gulls almost every day, so aim for that time. If you go around 10:00 and 15:00, you can see many black-headed gulls😊💩 problem. There are a lot of black-headed gulls flying around, so you might get covered in💩? You may think so, but I was there for 5 hours and didn't get hit💩😅 Let's just say I got lucky💪 The problem with feeding. The cafe attached to the station sells "seagull food" for 130 yen per bag. It was thin slices of bread. But! They don't eat it very well, so I don't recommend it. Buy "Kappa Ebisen" at a convenience store or supermarket🦐 They eat it really well, so I recommend it! The problem with feeding. The black-headed gulls here are very good at eating and it doesn't hurt at all😂 When I fed them somewhere, they often pecked my fingers and made them bleed😂 There is a cafe attached to the station called "Katorea" where you can take a lunch break. This time I ordered the daily set meal (Atka mackerel) for 750 yen. It was delicious and relaxing😊♡………………🕊Spot. Lake Hamana Sakume Station🕊Address. 725-9 Sakume, Mikkabi-cho, Kita-ku, Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture Inside Lake Hamana Sakume Station🕊️Camera Settings. Try shooting at SS1/2000 or 1/1000.
