**🛍️ Hour 5-6: Shop Duty-Free Bliss**
Indulge in tax-free retail therapy! From luxury brands (Gucci, Tiffany & Co.) to Middle Eastern souvenirs (dates, oud perfumes), HIA has it all. Asian travelers love the gold-dipped keepsakes 🏆 and **Al Nassma camel milk chocolate** 🍫—a quirky treat!

[Qatar/Doha] The airport where you can see the giant Kaws🛬
Doha Hamad International Airport in Qatar is where you can see the giant Kaws!
I used it for a transit to Europe.
The airport is quite spacious even within the restricted area!
There are many photogenic objects!
There is also a surprisingly large gold lump✨
There is also a shop selling gold accessories!
The forest zone is full of trees and has a lot of negative ions🌳
There are also many benches, and some people are sleeping in the forest💤
I had a lot of fun while waiting for my next flight◎
📍Doha Hamad International Airport مطار حمد الدولي
👣A hub airport in the Middle East, convenient for connecting flights to Europe!
🕰️Open 24 hours
❤️🔥The giant Kaws and forest zone are recommended!
🛏️There are several rooms with simple reclining chairs like beach beds called quiet zones. It's pitch black and you can sleep while charging, so it's recommended for people with long transits! It's free.

The Secret Garden at Doha Airport
For those who have taken long-haul flights, you might have had a layover in Doha.
Doha Airport is indeed very large.
Did you know that at the far end of the airport, there's a huge indoor tropical rainforest?
The ORCHARD was just completed last year, along with 65 shops and restaurants nearby.
Ralph’s Coffee is right next to the rainforest, and its white and green decor matches perfectly! Many people chill with their coffee there. 😃
Inside the tropical rainforest, besides walking around and taking photos, you can also rest. Many people set up their 'camp' there, which is quite amusing. There are also some chairs and grassy areas for everyone to relax. 🌿🌱🌴

Doha airport qatar
This time, I flew Doha Airlines and spent 13 hours transiting the airport. I would like to review how I made the most of my time at the airport.
#DohaQatar Airport is considered a very large airport. The landmark for checking in is the yellow bear. This area is the center for walking to various gates. There is a shuttle bus service to travel in the airport because each gate is very far from each other.
The view from the boarding area is a large glass panel, giving a great view without having to buy a bus ticket.
Food in the airport costs around 500 baht and up, and a bottle of drinking water costs 100 baht. However, there is a free water dispenser in the airport.
Free Wi-Fi in the airport and charging points are provided. Overall, if you are in the airport for no more than 5-6 hours, there are a lot of things to see.
Impressive!

Hamad International Airport Doha Qatar
Flew to Europe and transited at Hamad International airport in Doha Qatar. This is one of the top class airport comparable to Changi Airport Singapore. One newer section of the terminal has unique design also similar to Changi Jewel but of smaller scale. The design is clever and using the natural light from the Sun. Walking along the bridge which cut across it give you a good overall view of the greenery patch which is planted with trees and beautiful plants. Really enjoy strolling in this area.

Qatar Platinum Lounge@Hamad Airport
Flew to Europe via Doha airport and had a chance to visit Qatar Platinum and Gold Lounge. It is located at level 2 and went to the newer lounge in North section of the terminal where gates C are located. It is a spacious lounge with a nice entry, greeted by friendly staffs. There are good selection of food and beverages and there is a menu to choose from for “all day dinning”. The rest area has plenty of semi recline seats for some comfort resting. There are also separate shower area with clean towels provided.

Hamad International Doha Qatar Airport
Transited at Hamad International Doha Qatar Airport. There is only one super large terminal with A/B/C/D/E sections. So be aware that from one section to another you may have to walk up to 10-15mins. The entire airport it seems to be managed by Qatar Airway. There are plenty of duty free retails shops and also restaurants throughout the terminal. There is always fancy automobiles in display. You can have a chance to take some nice photos.

Airport or village square
During a recent stopover in Doha I was pleasantly surprised by the, what looks new, food court area at Hamad international airport.
Rather than carpets (who ever thought carpets were a good idea in airports) in strange colours schemes passengers are welcomed by a light glass structure, matching stone floor and a park with trees, grass a water feature and even a bridge allowing you to walk through the treetops.
Passengers can sit in the park to relax between flights in the sun light streaming in through the large glass ceiling and walls or walk along the paths. Around the park there are several shops and restaurants giving the feel of a pleasant summer day in a small town.
Only minus point is the price of food and drink available which I found, even for airport standards, excessive. Luckily, I kept the bottle of water from my flight and drank that you could also have a refillable bottle with you. I enjoyed the stopover and continued my journey feeling relaxed.

Transit at Hamad International Airport (Doha)
Had spent some transit time at Doha, Qatar airport while returning from recent Budapest trip.
There is this section of the airport which is newly open and looks and feel like Jewel Singapore.
At this section, most of the restaurants are still in the progressive opening up stage.
If you are planning to visit or transit via Qatar, do explore this area of the airport, I believe is worth the time and effort.
There are also quite a lot of good locations for taking photos.
Enjoy!

Qatar Doha "Past, present and future Hamad International Airport" Three eras crowded together!! Hamad Airport is a sci-fi movie set!?🎥
Backpackers used to say that Doha was a city where you couldn't kill time, but now the World Cup is held there and there are many things to see!!
There are historical buildings as Old Doha, mosques and bazaars. A 5-minute drive away, and then modern skyscrapers and shopping malls appear, like a picture book. And finally, there is Hamad International Airport, the hub airport for Qatar Airways, which is ranked number one in various rankings. One step inside and you'll feel like you've stepped into a time machine, as the futuristic counter invites you to the future!! A futuristic space down to the last detail!! Especially in the evening, the bright red sunset and the orange lights of the airport blend together beautifully, creating a mysterious space that looks like a Mars base in a science fiction movie!! You can enjoy it even during transit. 🌇✈️𓈒𓂂

If you're going to Qatar, fly Qatar Airways.
They fly directly to the destination and have great service.
The airport was luxurious, clean, and a wonderful place.
The food is not just Arabic but also cuisine from various countries, so you'll never get bored.
The sea was also beautiful.

Very quiet and luxurious flight from Amsterdam to Doha.
Well, 20mins walk to Baggage claim!? How big is this airport??
And interesting art pieces! Such a luxury airport full of art, here and there, according to others posts.
It looks worth walk around in this airport, apparently. Next time!

#GetDiscountsWithoutLuck
I had the opportunity to return to Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar again. Even though it was only for a short time (because I had a connecting flight to Spain), it was still as exciting as ever.
This airport is quite large and is the busiest airport in the Middle East zone because it is a hub for many major airlines, especially Qatar.
💞Reasons for liking this airport:
There is a Duty Free zone with a variety of branded shops and a snack zone with a wide selection of restaurants. If you like shopping and have time, I recommend checking out the prices of products here. There are many new collections, including a lounge for those who are eligible to use the service.
On the day we went to connect, we only had an hour, but it was still enough because the system was quite well organized. Luckily, we didn't have to X-ray our bags again.
In 2024, this airport was voted one of the best airports by Skytrax because of its convenience, modernity, and cleanliness.
The landmark of this airport is the giant yellow bear. If you stop by, don't forget to take a photo and check in.

Here are some of the most popular points. 1. World-class luxury Hamad Airport has a beautiful design, and is a space that combines futuristic architecture and art. With marble floors, spacious high ceilings, and a design that allows in plenty of natural light, it is so comfortable and luxurious that you would never think it was an airport. 2. Must-see spots at Doha Hamad Airport!!
Traveling from Ireland to Doha to Narita ✈️
When I arrived at Hamad Airport in Doha for the first time, it was so big that I almost got lost 🫢
So I recommend doing your research thoroughly! ︎Especially if you have a short layover, it's so big that it can be confusing 🫡
It was my first time using Hamad Airport, and it was so big and clean! It felt more like a luxury shopping mall than an airport. The marble floor was shiny and polished, and just walking around made me excited.
The first thing you see when you enter is that giant bear object (Lamp Bear). To be honest, I thought, "What is this? ? ?" but it had a great impact and everyone was taking pictures lol
There's also plenty of shopping, and there are high-end brand stores like Louis Vuitton lined up, so you won't get bored at all during your layover!! !
Also, is there such a big park in an airport! ? There is a park with jungle-like trees in the airport, so even if you are tired from a long flight, you can relax in nature. 🤭
Overall, it was an exciting place to be at the airport. I want to go again!
