[2025 Ha Long ] Travel Guide for Halong Bay Cruise Instant (Updated Apr)

If you decide to visit Halong bay during your stay in Vietnam, you can book 1 or 2 day’s cruise including a transport from Hanoi, in any of the tourist agencies around the city. Trip from Hanoi to Halong bay is around 2.5 hours. Once you get onto the boat, depending if its luxury or regular cruise, you will be served lunch and drinks, after lunch you can go to upper deck to enjoy gorgeous limestone mountains raising up from emerald waters. Halong bay is also part of UNESCO World heritage site so that s one more reason to visit this place. On the tour you will stop at TiTop island (named by Soviet Union Cosmonaut) where you can swim or go for a hiking tour around the island. Next stop is Sung Sot cave on Bo Hon island. After a climb of about 200 steps you will enter largest and most visited cave with a reason. It s absolutely beautiful. Cave is about 500 meters long and around 30 meters high. It was first found by French in 1901. And it s definitely one of the best part of the journey. At the end of the day you will have about an hour to do some kayaking and enjoy nature from the water :) And for the end of the day my recommendation is to grab a drink, go to upper deck and enjoy the sight of limestone mountains while the sun is setting down. The story began when we found a tour company in Hanoi. After that, we ended up here, right here in Halong Bay. In the morning, the guide asked us to meet at the Opera House. After that, we traveled. In the car, we had people from many nationalities gather together for 3 hours. After that, there were activities to see pearls, take a boat trip, kayak through caves, and hike (tiring but beautiful). Our boat was a 3-star, so it was okay. But when the activities were finished and we came back, it was scorching hot.

this is one of my favorite moment in my life , it was in Hanoi islands called halong bay,I spent great times in that day , discovered a mysterious cave with dragons living there it supposed to be a myth, had a good lunch in the boat specially had a chance to share my lunch with a Vietnamese family,it was shiny and we climbed the mountains of halong bay , oh my god what a view from the top ,finally the journey was over . #hanoivietnam #tour #beachlife #halongbay
