You can see large cacti and many uniquely shaped plants that you would see in the desert. You can also see desert plants that are not easily seen in Korea. Jeju is a picturesque small island located in South Korea. It is easy to get to from Seoul (1h15 flight) and from other main cities. Flights are also super cheap making this nice trip quite affordable. On the island, there are tons of beaches and other breathtaking nature wonders such as cliffs, coast boardwalks, waterfalls, parks, botanical gardens and volcanic cones. Attractions are located all around the island, so you do have to travel quite a bit by bus. The bus is very cheap and it’s very easy to go around the island. For South Korea, I suggest uploading an app called Naver Map. Other map apps such as Apple map or Google map do not work very well in South Korea. Where should you stay? My recommendation to you is to stay three nights in Seogwipo and 2-3 nights on the East side of the Island. There are quite a few things to see near Seogwipo. The hydrangea festival is currently in progress, and the pictures were taken at the end of May. 📸 📍Sinchang Windmill Coastal Road / Singgye Water Park (4) This is a place that many people visit because of its famous wind turbine view. It's a place with a fiery sunset, but you can see the low 🌊blue sea, so it doesn't matter when you go! It's always windy, so be careful of your hair and skirts blowing.. 📍Sanyangkeun Eonggot (5) This place has recently become famous as a railroad photo zone. If you can feel nature in Gotjawal, there are many 🪵photo zones here, so it's great for taking pictures✌🏻 They also have a nighttime firefly tour until July 5th, so please take note! The pictures were taken during the Halloween season. 📍Hyeopjae Beach (6) You can see Biyangdo and the emerald sea at a glance. There are stone tables/chairs next to the statue of a female diver at the entrance of the beach, so it's great to sit and stare at the sea! Nearby snacks are highly recommended: Pasteice (egg tart) and Iik Saeyang Gwajeom (pound). ✨ 📍Geumoreum (7) This is one of the famous Jeju oreums that everyone knows about. If you go after it rains, the rainwater collects and creates a crater lake. ⛲️ It's a short distance that takes 15-20 minutes at an adult's pace to the top, but it's steep, so I recommend wearing comfortable shoes! 📍Panpo Port (8) This is famous as a summer snorkeling spot in Jeju🥽 I went when it was cloudy, but it was an emerald place even from afar! Even if snorkeling isn't your goal, it's a good place to stop by for a bit 📍Mundoji Oreum (9) Actually, I thought a lot about whether to include it on the list because it's a hidden sunset restaurant that I want to keep to myself❤️‍🔥 If you go to 'Myeongseong Ranch', there's parking space for about 7 cars, and it takes about 5 minutes to get to the top of the mountain. Sometimes, horses are grazing, so be careful because it's dangerous to go near it! Ostrich as well and a reptile park where there were many different types of tortoises, snakes, iguanas etc. There's also a Sub-tropical garden that has hundreds of plants and cactuses from south East Asia. Today, I will take you to explore this romantic and healing place in three days and two nights! 🗓Itinerary Day 1: Udo Island ➡️Seongsan Sunrise Peak ➡️Seopji In the morning, we took a boat to Niu Island. After landing on the island, we rented an electric car to travel around the island, feeling the sea breeze and admiring the unbeatable coastline. Every shot we took was a blockbuster. In the afternoon, go to Chengshan Sunrise Peak and climb to the top of the mountain to enjoy a 360-degree view of the sea. Then we went to Seopjikoji, where the white lighthouse and the azure sea gave it a Korean drama-like romance. Day 2: The mountain never leaves ➡️Eco Land Forest Train Ecological Park ➡️Aewol-eup Shanjunbuli is a volcanic crater. Its unique landforms and different scenery in each season make it beautiful no matter how you take pictures of it. Then go to Eco Land to take a small train through the forest and enjoy a relaxing time. In the evening, go to Aewol-eup, take a walk along the seaside road, check in at a popular coffee shop, and watch the most beautiful sunset. Day 3: Hallim Park ➡️Hyeopjae Beach ➡️Dongmun Traditional Market Hanlin Park has a variety of landscapes including tropical botanical gardens and volcanic rocks, which are worth a visit. The sand at Hyeopjae Beach is fine and the water is clear, making it very comfortable to relax by the sea. Hanlin Park is a very popular tourist attraction in Jeju Island, located in the southwest of Jeju Island. There is a beautiful garden with a lot of characteristic plants and flowers that are especially good for photos. There are multiple hiking trails in the park for visitors to enjoy nature, and there is also a butterfly pavilion with different species of butterflies flying around. In addition, Hanlin Park also has some traditional Korean architecture to give you a feel for the local culture. If you like quiet walks or want to enjoy nature with family and friends, Hanlin Park is definitely a great choice! Remember to bring your camera and take pictures of the beautiful scenery!
