1. Location
Lingao Cape, now home to Lingao Liberation Park, is located at the northern end of Lingao County, Hainan Province. It faces the Beibu Gulf to the north and the Leizhou Peninsula across the sea. It is located between Haikou City and the Yangpu Economic Development Zone, 10 km from Lingao County.

3. Scenic features
Lingao Cape is a cape protruding into the Qiongzhou Strait, surrounded by the sea on three sides, with a 7 km long coastline. At the top of the cape, there is a 250 m long natural reef dam that stretches straight into the sea, which is said to be the "Finger of the Immortal". Climb up the dam to see the spectacular sunrise over the sea. The 1 km long beach on the east and west sides of the shore is a natural swimming pool. What is amazing is that on one side, the sea is calm, the water is clear, the seabed is flat, and the sand is as white as silver; on the other side, the waves are rolling, the white waves are surging, and the momentum is magnificent, known as the "Autumn Waves of the South China Sea".

1. Lighthouse
On the shore, there is a 22 m high, 1.88 m wide iron lighthouse built in the 19th year of the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty (1893), which is one of the 100 famous lighthouses in the world and has been featured on Chinese postal stamps.

The Qiong Customs, built by the French at the time, is still well preserved.
3. Memorial Hall of the Battle of Crossing the Sea to Liberate Hainan Island
Experience the heroic deeds of the 40th and 43rd Armies in liberating Hainan and remember the martyrs and stay true to the original aspiration.
4. Liberation Park and Monument
On April 17, 1950, the Chinese People's Liberation Army landed here and liberated Hainan Island. Now there are memorial facilities for the liberation of Hainan. The park has vivid sculptures depicting the crossing of the Qiongzhou Strait and the liberation of Hainan.
5. Sea-viewing corridor
Stretching along the winding coastline, it is a great place to enjoy the sea breeze and the waves, and to enjoy the sea view and the sunrise.
6. Tidal experience
The beach is gentle and the water is clear, making it a natural place to catch the tide. At low tide, small crabs and various shellfish will bring endless fun to visitors.
