I made a lot of good memories while living in Yeonnam-dong, Seoul for 2 years. It is a vibrant place of teenagers and young adults in their 20s, there are many unique cafes and restaurants to visit. In fact, I regret a little because I couldn’t fully enjoy this place because I personally had a hard time while living here. I would definitely visit here again in the future when I become more mentally and financially stable. If you want to stay in Seoul for a while by any chance, Yeonnam-dong is highly recommended.

If you exit through Exit 3 of Hongik University Station, the Gyeongui Line Forest Trail continues all the way to Gajwa Station. A rose restaurant known only to those who have been there is located right here. If you walk a little further past Yeonam Police Station, the colorful roses that are blooming along the wall will tell you where it is~ A variety of roses bloom together, giving you the best photo zone. I discovered this place by chance when I visited Yeonam-dong, and it was prettier than other rose spots and really great for taking pictures like a photo wall. The weather was nice, so I walked along the Gyeongui Line Forest Trail, which is great for a walk. It's also a famous filming location for my favorite drama, Record of Youth, and the scene where Park So-dam and Park Bo-gum appeared together came to mind vividly. ㅎㅎ It was my first time looking around in detail, but there were a lot of hip and pretty stores. The park takes root for the Gyeongui line that used to run there. It's easily accessible through various subway stations and bus stops. Currently, some parts of the line run adjacent to the current park, while others run underground. As the park follows the railway tracks, it stretches over 6km in length. Some sections have preserved some of the tracks so it feels very authentic. Along the way, you'll find buildings and houses that have stood the test of time, which adds to it's overall allure. The park also runs through several well known areas, which is a great way to explore these different places. There are countless food options so you'll never get hungry. Toilets and benches are also frequent which makes for a stress free walk. The walk is easy and shouldn't be a challenge for anyone. All in all a great way to explore several areas of Seoul in a interactive and healthy way!
