Historic buildings
Qingji Hall, designated as Historic Site No. 339, was built in 1410 to house the remains of Emperor Lee Tae-jo of the Liberation Dynasty. The Zhendian Temple, which hangs the portrait of Taizu, and the Zhaoqing Temple, which enshrines the tablets of Li Han and his wife, the ancestors of the Li family in Quanzhou, are all located in the Qingji Hall. Qingji Hall was damaged during the Renchen Japanese Rebellion (a war provoked by the invasion of foreign enemies from 1592 to 1598), and the existing building was rebuilt in 1614. In addition to Li Taizu, the Qingji Hall also enshrines the portraits of the emperors of Chunzong, Zhezong, Yingzu and other dynasties, and displays the format sedan chairs. Among them, the chariots used in the relocation of the tablets and the sedan chairs used by high-ranking officials on patrol are more noticeable. It is widely known as the filming location for the historical dramas 'Tears of the Dragon' and 'Empress Myongseong'.

Stepping Back in Time: Hanbok Experience at Gyeonggijeon on a Gloomy Day
#koreatrip #jeonju #jeonjuhanok
Visiting Gyeonggijeon in Jeonju on a gloomy day felt like stepping back in time. The overcast skies added a serene and mysterious charm to this historic site, making it the perfect backdrop for wearing a hanbok and immersing ourselves in Korea’s rich past. Gyeonggijeon was built in 1410 during the Joseon Dynasty to enshrine the portrait of King Taejo, the founder of the dynasty. Walking through the tall pine trees and traditional gates in our hanbok, we felt as though we had traveled back to the Joseon era. The solemnity of the shrine and the beauty of the surrounding traditional architecture made the visit unforgettable. Despite the gray skies, the cultural depth and historical significance of Gyeonggijeon shone brightly, leaving us deeply moved.

Jeonju is a city famous for its Hanok Village. Walking in the Hanok Village, you can not only see the Hanok with traces of time, but also see the Gyeonggijeon and Jeondong Cathedral.
Depart from Seoul..You can enjoy the representative Jeonju food and attractions in Hanok Village in one day; Jeonju bibimbap, Jeonju shaved noodles, PNB Jeonju confectionery chocolate pie..
Jeonju is a city of Hanok, and there are many cafes built in Hanok style. You can also plan a leisurely coffee day trip.
😌😌😌 is a good choice

Gyeonggijeon
My visit to Gyeongjeonggung was a rich historical experience. One of the most
historical landmarks in Korea, the palace is home to the shrine of King Taejo, the founder of the Joseon Dynasty. Upon entering,
I loved the traditional architecture and delicate details that reflect the greatness of Korean history.
I enjoyed wandering around the beautiful gardens surrounding the palace, where flowers and trees added to the tranquility and serenity. There was a small museum displaying artifacts and historical items dating back to the Joseon Dynasty, adding an educational dimension to the visit.
The visit to Gyeongjeonggung was a great opportunity to discover Korea's ancient history and culture.

It is Gyeonggijeon Hall in Jeonju, North Jeolla Province. It was the place where the Annals of the Joseon Dynasty were kept during the Joseon Dynasty, and is famous for being the only one that kept them intact during the war.
