I really loved this place... ever since I was in Hapjeong, 10 years ago! It's a place that I really felt like I was visiting Hawaii when I first went there, as it was a two-story single-family house building renovated in a back alley of Hapjeong, filled with Hawaiian interiors, and sells various Hawaiian foods! It appeared in the drama "Doctors" as a place called Suni Hawaii, and it was operated while maintaining the same interior before moving to Gwanggyo! Be sure to stop by when you go to Gwanggyo! The pollack roe pasta and barbecue platter are the best!

Recommended room restaurant in Gwanggyo Jungang Station!
#OutdoorDate
Bon-dang Gwanggyo Branch✨️✨️ is a Gwanggyo room restaurant that is especially recommended for family gatherings because it has rooms with great views and private dining.
For 2 people, I recommend Bon Signature 550, and for 3 people, I recommend Bon Signature 750.
Last time, I ate Bon Signature 550 with preferential seasoned ribs,
but this time, I ordered Bon Signature 550 with the ssam mok-sal that the staff recommended.
The lunch menu is also diverse and neatly presented, so it would be good for a lunch meeting!

Beginning to weed out the history of our ancestors' wisdom discovered in the dirt and tools🇰🇷
#AustraliaFlightEvent #suwon #DomesticTravel #Gwanggyo #DomesticTravel #koreatrip #Muesum
This afternoon, I visited the history exhibition of Suwon Gwanggyo Museum next to Gwanggyo History Park and experienced the roots of Korean agricultural culture! The collection of Joseon Dynasty weeding tools at the entrance caught my eye, and the user name engraved on the handle of an old wooden hoe was impressive. ㅎㅎ The photo exhibition of rice planting in the Suwon area in the 1950s vividly depicted the Dure culture of villagers working together!!
📌 Points for solo travelers
Recommended experience: Mini rice paddy weeding → Experience traditional methods in a real small rice paddy (20 minutes, 5,000 won)
Hidden spot: 2nd floor "Nongyo's Room" → A space where you can hear the sounds of weeding in each region
Recommended snack: Museum cafe "Farmer's Saecham" (7,000 won) → A set of traditional makgeolli and chive pancakes
🚨 Notes
Weeding experience ends at 4:30 p.m. (requires time to wash boots)
Headphones must be worn in the Nongyo space, seating is limited
The Saecham set is a popular menu, so it may sell out early
I had an interesting look at how the farmland in the Suwon area has changed in the interactive rice field map experience. The rice sheaf craft I made with my own hands in the experience zone was a little damaged, but it became a meaningful souvenir! It's free! The last AR four seasons farming experience was memorable because it showed the flow of farming in a compressed way for a year!

Pyeongchang Olympics exhibition where you can feel the excitement of winter sports once again
#AustraliaFlightEvent #Museum #koreatrip #museum #suwon #DomesticTravel #Gwanggyo
This afternoon, I visited the "Pyeongchang Olympics" special exhibition at the Suwon Gwanggyo Museum next to Gwanggyo History Park and felt the excitement of winter sports again! The life-size models of Suhorang and Bandabi at the entrance caught my eye, and I was surprised that they were taller than I thought. In particular, Yun Seong-bin's skeleton sled seemed smaller and lighter than I thought, so I couldn't believe that it actually ran at a speed of over 100km!
📌 Points for solo travelers
Recommended experience: Virtual ski jump → Experience Alpensia ski jump with VR goggles (10 minutes, 8,000 won)
Hidden spot: 2nd floor "Moment of Gold Medal" → Quiet space where actual performance videos of medalists are shown
Recommended snack: Museum cafe "Pyeongchang Bingsu" (7,500 won) → Milk Bingsu and blueberry syrup that resembles snow
🚨 Notes
VR experience ends at 4:20 p.m. (device disinfection time required)
Gold medal video room changes videos every 30 minutes, so check the timing
Bingsu takes about 15 minutes, so order when you have time
In the short track experience simulation, pushing with your hands and turning the corner was harder than I thought, so I almost fell over.. My own Pyeongchang commemorative medal (6,000 won) made in the experience zone has crooked letters, but it's a good souvenir! The closing ceremony hologram at the end of the exhibition hall made me feel like I was back in that day!

Taereung Athletes' Village, which shows the history of sweat and tears toward victory🇰🇷
#AustraliaFlightEvent #DomesticTravel #HistoryTravel #Museum #koreatrip #museum
This afternoon, I visited the "Taereung Athletes' Village" exhibition at Suwon Gwanggyo Museum next to Gwanggyo History Park and met the heart of Korean sports! The tape-cutting photo at the entrance of the Taereung Athletes' Village in 1966 caught my eye. The anticipation-filled expressions of the people in the black-and-white photo were impressive!! In particular, the exhibition of Olympic gold medalists' training uniforms was interesting in terms of design changes over time..
📌 Points for solo travelers
Recommended experience: Athletes' Village diet experience → Taste the nutritious food menu that actual athletes ate (15 minutes, 9,000 won)
Hidden spot: 2nd floor "Medal Room" → Exhibition of favorite items of Taereung medalists
Recommended snack: Museum cafe "Champion Protein Smoothie" (6,500 won) → Reproduction of athletes' recovery drinks
🚨 Notes
Diet experience ends at 4:15 p.m. (requires preparation time)
The Medal Room is dark, making it difficult to take pictures
There are many group visitors on weekends, so weekday visits are recommended
During the archery team training simulation experience, I pulled the bow with more force than I thought, and my arms shook ㅎㅎ I made my own Athletes' Village ID card at the experience zone. I wrote "Future Gold Medalist". The AR Athletes' Village tour at the end of the exhibition hall was special because it allowed me to virtually tour restricted areas! The best part was that it was free!!

#suwon #GwanggyoTravel #TorchRelay
This afternoon, I visited the "PyeongChang Olympic Torch Relay" special exhibition at the Suwon Gwanggyo Museum next to Gwanggyo History Park and felt the emotion of that historic moment again! The actual torch display at the entrance caught my eye, and it was surprisingly lighter than I thought. The LED map of the national relay route was impressive, and the interactive element that played a video of the relay in that area when you pressed the button was fun!!
📌 Points for solo travelers
Recommended experience: Virtual torch relay → Run while holding the torch yourself with AR technology (15 minutes, 5,000 won)
Hidden spot: 2nd floor "Flame Journey" → Video interview room with few people
Recommended snack: Museum cafe "Torch Macaron" (6,500 won) → Cinnamon macaron decorated with flames
🚨 Notes

Interview video room sessions start every 20 minutes, no mid-session entry
Macarons are limited to 30 on the day and may sell out early
Watching the video of Yuna Kim's torch relay, I was moved by the excitement of that day again ㅎㅎ.. Mini torch keychain made in the experience zone starting at 5,000 won It's small, but it's a detailed reproduction of the actual torch design! The 4D video of the final torch lighting ceremony at the exhibition hall was amazing with the chairs vibrating along with the sound of the wind.

Witness the birth of an international city The world comes to Seoul, Seoul comes to the world 🇰🇷
#AustraliaFlightEvent #museum #suwon #koreatrip #domestictravel #historytravel #museum
This afternoon, I visited the "The World is Seoul" special exhibition at the Suwon Gwanggyo Museum next to Gwanggyo History Park and vividly experienced the history of the international city of Seoul! The collection of foreign news headlines from the 1988 Olympics at the entrance caught my eye, and the articles in various languages captured the surprises of the world at the time. ㅎㅎ The unfamiliar yet familiar appearance of old Seoul in the Seoul sketch drawn by a foreigner in the early 1900s was impressive!!
📌 Points for solo travelers
Recommended experience: Seoul messages from people around the world → Leave your thoughts about Seoul in multiple languages (15 minutes, free)
Hidden spot: 2nd floor "Seoul in the World Map" → Experience finding Seoul on a world map by era
Recommended snack: Museum cafe "Taste of the World" (6,800 won) → Mini dessert set by country
🚨 Notes
Message experience closes at 4:35 p.m. (needs time to clean up)
Magnifying glass rental is available for the world map experience, request in advance is recommended
Dessert set composition changes daily
The 1934 Seoul tourist guidebook exhibition for foreigners was interesting, but the introduction of Seoul written as "KEIJO" at that time was unfamiliar!! I wrote a message to send to a foreign friend on a Seoul postcard (5,000 won) that I made at the experience zoneㅎㅎ The last AR Seoul experience in the exhibition hall was impressive because it visually showed Seoul's growing international status!!

Asia's passion for sports unites Asia's passion for sports unites Asia's passion for sports
#AustraliaFlightEvent #museum #suwon #AsianGames #DomesticTravel #koreatrip
This afternoon, I visited the "Asian Games, Uniting Asia" exhibition at the Suwon Gwanggyo Museum next to Gwanggyo History Park and vividly experienced the history of Asian sports exchange! The actual 1986 Seoul Asian Games torch at the entrance caught my eye, and it seemed heavier than I thought. The mascot collection for each competition was so cute that I didn't realize how much time had passed while taking pictures! It's so cute ㅎㅎ
📌 Points for solo travelers
Recommended experience: Making Asian Games medals → Make your own commemorative medal with clay (25 minutes, 6,000 won)
Hidden spot: 2nd floor "Sound of cheering" → A space where you can hear cheering sounds from past Asian Games
Recommended snack: Museum cafe "5-ring cookie" (7,000 won) → Olympic ring-shaped cookies and iced tea
🚨 Notes
Medal making ends at 4:25 p.m. (drying time required)
Headphones are required for the cheering sound experience, and rentals are available, but personal earphones are recommended if you are concerned about cleanliness
Weekends are crowded with families, so visiting on weekdays is more relaxed
The 2002 Busan Asian Games uniform exhibition brought back vivid memories of those days, and I was filled with nostalgia ㅎㅎ The clay medals I made at the experience zone had letters engraved backwards, which made me laugh, but they became special souvenirs! The VR opening ceremony experience at the end of the exhibition hall was the best because it felt as if I was there!! It was so much fun.

The food was great, but it was an uncomfortable meal with coworkers.
#DecemberTravelSupportEvent I had teppanyaki and watched the fire show at Anna's Garden, and it was a truly special experience. The chef put on a spectacular fire show right in front of me, which really brought the atmosphere to life and heightened my anticipation. Teppanyaki, made with fresh ingredients, was even more trustworthy because I could see it being cooked right in front of me, and it was full of flavor with every bite. The meat was tender and the vegetables were crunchy, and the harmony was perfect. The atmosphere, the taste, and the sights were all satisfying, so I wanted to visit again.

I can't stand this mutton skewers
#December Travel Support Event I visited Igane Lamb Skewers as a thank you gift for a friend's wedding and I was really satisfied. There were a variety of lamb menus to choose from, so it was a lot of fun to choose from. In particular, the flavor of the lamb skewers grilled on charcoal was superb, and the spicy seasoning and fresh vegetables served on the side were a great match. The staff also kindly gave me tips on grilling, so I was able to enjoy it even more. It was a memorable and delicious experience because it was a good place to try various menus with several people.

Gwanggyo famous restaurant Usa
#September travel support event
Is it a Korean restaurant or a meat restaurant?
Wow, the side dishes are really good at Woosah
Onion lettuce salad, corn salad
In addition, there are japchae, tofu, cucumber peppers, marinated crab,
white kimchi, and shredded squid. The side dishes are really good.
What I like the most is
that most of the side dishes at Woosah Gwanggyo branch
are not too salty.
I think adults will like it too!
