Waking up to the thought of a slow, peaceful day, I decided to spend it at Gwangalli Beach, one of Busan’s most scenic coastal spots. The air was crisp, and the gentle sea breeze carried the scent of salt and adventure.
I found a cozy beachfront cafe in hanok themed, The warm wooden interiors, delicate paper windows, and traditional Korean architecture created an atmosphere of tranquility, offering a perfect escape from the city’s fast-paced rhythm.
Having our meal in 미포집 (just beside the cafe), The meal includes an impressive assortment of shellfish, such as scallops, clams, abalone, and whelks, garnished with fresh herbs and accompanied by a bright egg yolk for dipping.
Next to the seafood platter, there is a bowl of hot stone pot rice (돌솥밥, dolsotbap) topped with marinated beef, vegetables, and another egg yolk, ready to be mixed for a rich and flavorful bite. The side dishes (banchan) include a variety of seasoned vegetables, pumpkin, and salads, adding a well-balanced taste to the meal.
With a breathtaking ocean view in the background, this dining experience is a perfect blend of fresh flavors and a relaxing atmosphere—an ideal way to enjoy the best of Busan’s seafood scene.
We ended our day at Haeundae night market, is a lively street food market in Busan, offering a variety of local delicacies, from hotteok (sweet pancakes) to fresh seafood skewers. The vibrant atmosphere, neon lights, and ocean breeze make it a perfect spot for a nighttime stroll while indulging in Korean street food. It’s a must-visit for food lovers exploring Haeundae!🩵
