Great experience, wonderful staff that were very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Snorkelling was amazing and Phill junior has us giggling with his commentary. The Evolution was kept super clean and food was great! Loved it even though I got a little sick I give them an 11 out of 10 and I’d go back again any day ⭐️ The vessel was comfortable, the Staff were friendly and helpful, the food was well presented and tasty. The first snorkeling spot was great and plenty to see but the second spot was not as interesting. A faultless event from start to finish! An atmosphere of fun and friendliness throughout, but always with a strong undercurrent of safety for all on board. The depth of care, and attention to detail. was exceptional; catering to every level of skill, ability, and nervousness, with kindness and encouragement. Seeing and exploring the reef speaks for itself. You must do this! We were certainly well fed too, and it was all fresh and delicious, and of excellent quality! The entire crew, even Uncle Eddie, were fabulous! We would do it again tomorrow!

Last day in Australia 🇦🇺🐨🦘 Woke up early ☀️ and took a walk along the seaside Esplanade 🌊🌿. The morning light and sea breeze were so refreshing, offering a truly soothing experience 🕊️. After the stroll, I enjoyed breakfast at Muddy’s Cafe ☕🍇. The acai bowl was fresh and absolutely satisfying 🍌✨. 📍Muddy’s Cafe 174 Esplanade, Cairns City QLD 4870, Australia 🕰️ Opening Hours: 6:00 AM – 7:30 PM 🏖️ Atmosphere/Facilities: From the terrace seating, you can enjoy views of the ocean while birds leisurely roam around 🐦🌺. It was the perfect morning café experience amidst nature ☀️. 💰 Price per person: Around 2000 yen Cairns has high living costs, so the acai bowl and coffee exceeded 2000 yen 💦.

🌿 First Impressions: A Slow-Paced Tropical Town Upon arriving in Cairns, I was greeted by the warm sea breeze, with the air filled with a strong tropical vibe. The pace here is more leisurely than I had imagined, without the bustling crowds, but rather a relaxed and free atmosphere. Walking along the Esplanade, watching locals jogging, walking their dogs, and travelers lying on the grass daydreaming, I realized the beauty of this town lies in its simplicity and purity. 🐠 Great Barrier Reef Diving: Entering an Underwater Wonderland A trip to Cairns wouldn't be complete without visiting the Great Barrier Reef. I joined a day tour for snorkeling and diving, taking a speedboat to the outer reef. The clarity of the water was astonishing. The first time I dived into the water, the feeling of weightless floating made me a bit nervous, but as soon as I saw the colorful corals and schools of fish, all my worries vanished. Watching clownfish darting among the anemones and turtles gracefully swimming by, it felt like entering another world. At that moment, I understood why the Great Barrier Reef is considered one of the most beautiful natural wonders on Earth. 🌳 Kuranda Rainforest: Riding a Century-Old Train into the Primal Jungle On the second day, I chose to visit Kuranda, a small town hidden in the world's oldest tropical rainforest. Taking the Kuranda Scenic Railway, I slowly traversed the dense tropical jungle, with breathtaking views of waterfalls and gorges along the way. Upon arriving in Kuranda, I leisurely strolled through the handicraft markets, tasted local coffee and tropical fruits, and even encountered adorable koalas and kangaroos. The highlight was taking the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway back, overlooking the vast rainforest from above, feeling the awe and grandeur of nature. 🌅 A Solo Journey to Truly Listen to Yourself The greatest charm of solo travel is not having to accommodate anyone else, allowing you to explore the world at your own pace. During my days in Cairns, I didn't over-schedule my itinerary, instead giving myself plenty of time to sit by the sea, savor local seafood, chat with locals, or simply watch the sunset quietly. Sometimes, travel is not just about checking off attractions, but about experiencing the moment, immersing yourself in a new environment, feeling, thinking, or simply enjoying the breeze of a tropical sea. This solo trip to Cairns taught me to slow down, listen to my heart, and appreciate the beauty of the world. If you also want a journey to converse with yourself, then Cairns is definitely a place worth visiting.

We were just across the Esplanade, where you can enjoy a nice walk by the water when we came across Guayala. It wasnt planned but the place kind of looked nice. Took a glimpse at the menu, the prices were doable so decided to give it a shot. The food was quite nice. Both the mushrooms on toast and avocado's toast were perfectly done. We shared a waffle with a scoop of ice cream that was delightful. All in all this unexpected spot turned out to be quite nice and we stayed back for a while having some of their drinks. It can get busy during certain hours. I liked the atmosphere of the place too. If you are arojnd the esplanade, this might be worth a try. #australiatrip #cairns #goodfoods

#australiatrip Nice place to hang out or go for a stroll. This is not where all the tourists go, so it is a great place for some peace. Great toilet facilities, playgrounds, park benches and bbqs. There is lots of space for kids to ride bikes and kick a ball around. It's pretty close to the airport too , so kids can enjoy watching the planes go by. A great place to spend quality time with friends and families.

#australiatrip What a cute little cafe! Such cozy seating, both inside and outside. The food is great - a really nice quiet place for breakfast/ brunch. No loud music means that you can have a decent conversation. Staff were really friendly. I highly recommend this place. The barista will make you a coffee the way you want it and they make it extremely well....

#australiatrip This tiny little breakfast nook on a side street off of route 1 offers some of the best breakfast items that I have ever had. Perhaps I was simply elated by the magic of Cairns itself, but the food, the coffee, with light house music, basking in the morning sun in the outdoor seating...it is just the best way to start the day. Recommend you grab a coffee here!

#australiatrip Highly recommended! Very attention to detailed cafe. The environment is peaceful and modern. It is not easy to find that kind of style cafe in cairns. Staff are really friendly, greeting with sunny smile when we got in but unfortunately couldn’t get her name. For the foods, the truffle toasted was okay, it is up to standard. But the pork belly one is really blow my mind. Everything on the plate are making your taste super balance. Not too oily and not feeling too much to have it in the breakfast. In general, very good experience at all.

Amazing liveaboard dive trip with Pro Dive Cairns. went solo and found awesome dive buddy's The crew were great and everything felt well organised and safe. the reef experience and diving was incredible. I've done a lot of diving but not a liveaboard before and it was really great. There was a diverse range of travellers and queensland locals on board and not just gap year or schoolies which as I get older I fear.
