Exploring the Enchanting Blue Lake in Bintan
Bintan Danau Biru (Blue Lake) and Desert (Sand Danes) offer a truly breathtaking experience. Despite being artificial, the pristine Blue Lake captivates with its stunning view, making it a fantastic photo stop.
The journey to this hidden gem is well worth it, as the lake's beauty leaves an indelible mark on your soul. There are also ATV cars to be rented and photos taking with real eagles. However, the hot and humid weather caused by the bright sun can be a major setback, making the heat unbearable at times.
Overall, whether you're visiting solo or with loved ones, Blue Lake is a must-see destination that promises an unforgettable and rejuvenating experience in Bintan. #bluelake

Escape to a Desert Paradise: Gurun Pasir Bintan
Bintan is renowned for its luxurious resorts and sandy beaches. It's a short distance from Singapore and a good escape from the bustling city life.
One of the must-visit places in Bintan is Gurun Pasir Bintan. It is a man-made 'desert', previously a Bauxite mine. Over the years, it has become a tourist spot when the excavation site was transformed to sand dunes and the mineral residues of the mine turned the water clear blue.
This place is highly instagrammable and frequented by both locals and tourists. It is my second time visiting this place and there are a few activities added - ATV riding and photo taking with eagle.
It is worth going if you have time to spare!

Bintan Desert and Blue Lake Tour ☀️👒
Although this is man-made, it’s definitely worth the time travelling to get some dreamy Instagram worthy photos 😉 The beige dunes, together with the crystal blue water of the lagoons were stunning, which is why this is one of the must visit destination in many Bintan tour packages.

Gurun Pasir Busung Bintan Island

Photographs of Tiffany Blue in the golden sand dunes of Bintan Island
Bintan Island may be unfamiliar to many people. This is a small island in Indonesia, which is a visa-free country. It is convenient to take a boat from Singapore. The island has not yet been fully developed, so there are few tourists and the sights are strange.
For example, this place is called the golden sand dune. It has a lot of formations. It is said that in the Nanyang period, it is a gold mining area. Because the sand that has been dug is not treated well, the wind and the sun are raining. The drip, which has accumulated over time, has formed sand dunes of different sizes. Under the sun's rays, the sand dunes will refract different colors, either golden or white or bright red.
The lake here is more beautiful, the blue lake is crystal clear, revealing the exquisiteness of Tiffany blue, which is in stark contrast with the golden sand dunes of the atmosphere, like the mosaic in this desert land. The emerald is general. In order to make the tourists take better pictures, some suggested wooden plank roads and photo points are built in the scenic spot. Although not so beautiful, they are somewhat interesting.
Be sure to do a good job of sun protection here, because there is almost no place to cover the sun and rest, and you should pay attention to safety when climbing sand dunes.
