The environment is also cool and have huge reservoir of holy water with lots of beautiful fishes. And you can take bath in the holy water.This was the first Sikh temple I ever visited. The premises are vast and it is lovely to walk around the waters. I enjoyed a guided tour with staff from the visitors office to see the main building and the kitchen. Introduction -Gurudwara Bangla Sahib is one of the most prominent Sikh gurdwaras in entire India. It is the Sikh house of worship, in New Delhi. It is known for its association with the eighth Sikh Guru, Guru Har Krishan, as well as the holy pond inside its complex, known as the "Sarovar." It was first built as a small shrine by Sikh General Sardar Baghel Singh in 1783, on the bungalow donated by king Raja Jai Singh of Amer, who supervised the construction of nine Sikh shrines in Delhi in the same year, during the reign of Mughal Emperor, Shah Alam II. Getting There - is situated near Connaught Place, New Delhi on Baba Kharak Singh Marg. You can easily get there by metro. The nearest metro station is Rajiv Chowk. You can also get there by app based cabs. It is instantly recognisable by its golden dome and tall flagpole, Nishan Sahib. Located next to it is the Sacred Heart Cathedral. This place was really peaceful and the people there were really caring and loving. Usually Sikh people go there for praying. However, tourists and people from other religions can also go in as long as we respect their religion and follow what is done there. The plave was really big and beautiful both in and out. It was one of the best places I have ever been to till now.
