Nice place to visit, cold place and natural wonder for Kedah state. Can drive up to the top from now on..drive carefully because narrow road..the road is in good condition. Parking is available at side. The parking is not free. Uou must pay fee for the parking. Breakfast buffet start at 7.30 to 10.30, adult rm 25 per head, children 4 to 12yold rm 15, under 4 is free. Cold breeze until 9.30, after that will be quite hot until evening unless there is raining. Best place for family short trip. Resort got swimming pool. Got strawberry farm. Last weekend getaway with family. Mount Jerai (Malay: Gunung Jerai), formerly Kedah Peak, is a mountain in Kedah, Malaysia with the height of 3,993 feet (1,217 m). Within Kedah itself, the mountain stands at the border of Kuala Muda and Yan districts. Totally unexpected It was an impromptu outing, no expectation. It just feel like not knowing what to and where to go. Then Gunung Jerai crossed in mind. A few message exchanges with friend then we were already uphill. The journey itself was challenging but manageable. The views up there were breathtaking with cool breeze. Hydrangeas can be found everywhere. There were a few adventure activities available but I was not into it.

I recently had the pleasure of spending a few hours at Gunung Jerai, Kedah, and I had an amazing time! The air was cold and crisp and the sky was filled with fog. It was incredibly tranquil, and the perfect place to relax and appreciate nature. The food at the local restaurants was great too - warm and hearty meals that made me feel truly spoilt. Ku ukir namamu, di awan gunung Jerai ~ The road is very long (for me), almost 15km to arrived at the top. We used van to go there. RM 80 per van and driver very nice tho. Can share with other if want. Still undergoes construction. Very steep at certain corner. Strawberry farm didn't have much attraction. Got cafe, hotel/resort, restaurant and monkey. Getting There - You can drive on your own or rent a van Attractions - Nice view of Jerai Hill Resort and Strawberry Farm, Flying Fox for kids and adult Hotels - Jerai Hill Resort Food & Restaurants - Within the hotel or Strawberry Farm Shopping - None The road is a bit narrow thus you need to be more careful and aware of the opposite vehicle. Quite challenging even though it's only 10kn to reach the top. Parking within Jerai Hill is free and applicable only for the resident or else you can park outside. Entrance fee is free. Enjoy the scenery and breeze while being at the top of the mountain in Kedah. #naturalwonders #gunungjerai
