[2025 Zakopane Attraction] Travel Guide for Gubalowka (Updated May)

I bought a package ticket for Gubałówka + Butorowy cable cars and took the cable car up to Gubałówka Mountain, which is about 1,100 meters above sea level. The cable car only takes about 4-5 minutes to get up the mountain. I didn't expect this to be a popular tourist attraction. There were crowds of people on the mountain, and restaurants and vendors lined up everywhere. Facing the endless mountains, it was a pity that there was not much leisurely viewing space. The hiking distance to the Butorowy Cable Car Station is only about 2.5 kilometers. You need to walk along a busy road with many street vendors, which makes you feel like you are in Kenting Street. The Butorowy cable car is a ski chairlift that takes about 10 minutes to ride. From the cable car you can enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery of the Tatra Peaks. #AprilGoodDestinations2025

The transportation is very convenient. There are ticket machines or manual ticket windows at the entrance to buy cable car tickets. The whole journey takes about 15-20 minutes. Along the way, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the cable car climbing. There is a whole row of cafes and view restaurants at the exit of the cable car station. You can see many people coming here to eat and enjoy the surrounding mountain scenery. There are also many small shops selling souvenirs to visit. There are also some amusement facilities here, which is very suitable for bringing children here to enjoy parent-child time😉

We had a lovely time playing in the snow and eating delicious cheese. After arriving in Zakopane, we took the funicular up the mountain to the top, where there sat an array of restaurants and cafes, perfect for grabbing a quick drink or some snacks. There were also some little stalls behind the cafes, selling souvenirs alongside some more food stalls. A particular favourite as i have mentioned already is the cheese with a cranberry sauce.
