#eatlikealocal #100waysoftravel This is my second time having this snacks here in China mainland, particularly first time was in Hangzhou, and we missed it so much, saw it in the Guangzhou Baiyun Airport and immediately we order it! The shop name is very literate stating they use 2 eggs as a base ingredient to cook the snack. They put in somewhat Mala sauce (China local favourite!) and then wrap it up, garnish with sesame seed on top!

Thai Feels in Huadu China!

Guangzhou Siam Garden- This hidden place is located in Huadu. Here you can feel the Thailand atmosphere since it’s a huge Thai village, also close to this is the Shitouji mineral park which is just a walking distance from the vicinity. You can just freely roam around, there is also a Thai resto if you want to taste the Thai cuisine. I love it here because it’s not too crowded, you’ll feel so peaceful while breathing fresh air. Tiring

This is an experience with the domestic terminal. Sometimes it feels that air travel is far more tiring than train. Since the airport's located a bit outside of town. With the subway and your luggage dragging. It makes for an exhausting experience. There is very little in the way of character when it comes to differentiating one airport from another (in China). So, this was about the same as elsewhere. Although being Guangzhou it was more crowded. Otherwise nothing fun or amusing about the experience. Bring food along. Things are pricey at the airport and just not that appealing. #chinatrip #airport #guangzhou

Lupian Mountain, which can be climbed in just half an hour! It's very friendly for beginners. Lupian Mountain is located in Yongxing Village, Longgui Town, Baiyun District, Guangzhou. It belongs to the Maofeng Mountain range, connecting to Maofeng Mountain at the back and Baiyun Mountain to the south. The air here is fresh, and the scenery is beautiful. - Lupian Mountain Tianchi: Lupian Mountain was originally a quarry. After its closure, a huge abandoned stone pit was left, which accumulated rainwater to form a very distinctive 'Tianchi'. It is very rare in Guangzhou and has become a famous internet celebrity check-in point. The lake water is as green as jade, and under the sunlight, it is absolutely beautiful. - Honglu Reservoir: Honglu Reservoir is located in the southeast of Lupian Mountain. It is a clear artificial lake. Smooth Guide from Guangzhou North Station to Baiyun Airport After arriving at Guangzhou North Station, first exit the station and look for the sign with the words 'Intercity (Huadu Station)', as shown in Picture 1. There are two ways to transfer to the intercity train after exiting the station: one way is to download the 'Guangzhou Metro App'. The app's QR code is provided in the last photo. You can scan it directly with Alipay and pay after the ride. The second way is to keep walking forward, exit the station, go upstairs to the departure level, and then enter the station again. The high-speed rail, intercity rail, and metro all transfer here. Find the intercity train sign and enter the station. The second way takes about ten minutes from exiting to entering the station. The first way is more convenient as you don't need to keep entering and exiting the station. The intercity train is quite new and has a place for large luggage. The train I took was very empty, and it only took three stops to get there. The adult ticket costs 11 yuan. Tips: Guangzhou North Station's facilities are really old, there are no elevators, and you have to carry your luggage up the stairs yourself.

The airport is amazing.

You can access the lounge if you are part of StarAlliance Gold. The lounge is good with big sitting area. There are sofa seats in the back with the television but nothing interesting. Plenty of food options if you eat meats. There is noodle bar as well. Washrooms are clean and facility is nice. Staff is helpful and happy.
