During the Spring Festival, the Guande Hall of Jingshan Park held the Golden Snake Dance: Colorful Painting of Auspiciousness, a Thangka Art Exhibition to Celebrate the Spring Festival. Thangka is a unique art form in Tibetan culture and is included in the World Intangible Cultural Heritage List. The exhibition is divided into three exhibition rooms, and the exquisite and delicate works are full of strong snow plateau style and the best wishes. During the Spring Festival, the perfect combination of Thangka art and the royal garden brings us joy. The exhibition specially introduces two artists, Tashi Jianzhuo and Guoluo Xirebu, and their works. Guande Hall is near the east gate of Jingshan Park, and the exhibition will last until February 23. Free admission.

Guande Hall is located on the north side of Jingshan Park, built on the foundation of buildings from the Jin and Yuan dynasties, in the twenty-eighth year of the Wanli era of the Ming Dynasty (1600). The name 'Guande Hall' originates from the 'Book of Rites·The Meaning of Archery', and since its construction, it has always been the place where emperors and their ministers held archery ceremonies, a function that continued until the mid-Qing Dynasty. During the Qianlong period, its function changed; Guande Hall was transformed into a royal mortuary palace for the placement of the imperial coffins, and the Yongsiden Hall was built for sacrificial ceremonies and rest. Today, Guande Hall has been restored to its layout and style from the Qianlong period, becoming a cultural exhibition area.
