The elevator does not have any platforms in the middle, allowing visitors to reach the highest point in one go. A sunshade and rain shelter are installed above the elevator. Coming to Gulong Gorge without rafting is like not coming at all 😡 The total length is 6.1 kilometers, with a maximum drop of 387 meters But we tried every single activity hahaha 🤣 The most memorable ones were these three: 🔘 International Rafting 🔘 Gulong Gorge Glass Bridge 🔘 Cliff Car - 🔘 International Rafting 🌊 Of course, you have to go crazy with water in the summer! Splashes everywhere, one bend after another Heart racing, adrenaline pumping!! So thrilling and enjoyable!! It was really awesome!! - 🔘 Glass Bridge 🤩 It's transparent! Walking on it makes your legs tremble slightly~ But the view is really great!! Although not has high as similar glass bridge attractions in Western China, the Gulongxia Glass Platform does claim to be the longest of its type at 72 meters but the Wansheng Glass Platform in Chongqing Province is said to be longer at 86 meters. One special element of the Gulongxia glass platform is the proximity to a beautiful waterfall with several cascades that tumble down into the tree-filled gorge. And it’s best place to be with nature from the busy life to make self relax.

#2024mapped Spend the day exploring natural wonders north of Guangzhou on sightseeing tour was so awesome and wonderful experience. Enjoy a walk across the Glass Skywalk Bridge at Gulong Gorge (Gulongxia). visiting the Suna land and a striking landscape of lush mountains, valley and waterfalls. It’s was amazed at the views as i walk across a cantilevered glass bridge over the canyon and a glass platform overlooking a cascading waterfall. I will highly recommend to friends and people who want to be in nature and explore inside relax be choose to go there.

Qing Yuan Mountain View

Amazing falls view, you get to stand right on top of the falls looking down on a glass floor. Great view and very relaxing up there. It is a bit of a walk up but very easy walk. Recommend going in the fall/winter as it's not as hot to do the walk, but might be a bit too cold to do some of the excursions offered. Came during winter time so wasn't able to do the white water draft offered. They did have a ride down, roller coaster like, highly recommended to try if you are up for it. A different way down was a different experience.

Getting There - In my case we took a taxi from Zhuhai, so driver brought us straight to the ticket office. The place itself is quite far from civilization, so I highly doubt that there is any kind of public transportation. If you’re staying outside of the territory, you’ll definitely need to order taxi or have a car Attractions - the experience begins with the bus ride from ticket office to the actual park, where you’ll see endless amount of stairs. We were terrified at first, but eventually we were surprised that this place is so compact and logically built, that you won’t kill your legs afterwards. The amount of waterfalls amazed me (I love ‘em). I saw that there was rafting, but it didn’t work at that time. Besides there was two different types of zip-lines from one side of the park to another with a view of the main waterfall, three types of glass bridges (regular long straight one, the big round one which is closest to the main waterfall and small lotus-shapes right above waterfall). Besides straight glass bridge there is a hanging swing, nearby the top of the main waterfall you can find hanging boards and a bicycle on a rope that you need to go through if you want some extreme feelings. Nearby the exit you can see the hand and stairs to the sky, you also can buy a picture from local photographer, (they also have drone) it will be printed and put in the frame for you for only 30 RMB. For additional 20 RMB you can also rent a long red dress for the photo shoot. Hotels - you can come in advance or stay overnight after wonderful day in the hotel that stands right next to the ticket office. But it’s very possible just come there in the morning and just go home or somewhere else after, I don’t see any reason to stay there overnight. But if you willing to: price range is 300-600 RMB per night. Food & Restaurants - unfortunately, the food is not the best side of this place. We arrived there so hungry and we couldn’t find proper food. Of course there is a shop where you can buy snacks, or food zone where you can order typical guandong food, but nothing serious. Besides the hotel there is a two level restaurant, which gave us hope to eat something good, but it was just a trap: their menu contains only one page and you barely have options (but still better than at food zone). Along your route you can easily find vending machines to buy some water and even ice cream. Shopping - on the territory there is a little grocery store, but prices are pretty high. Besides that I didn’t found any merchandise stores or something similar General feelings - it is definitely worth going there, it takes about 4-6 hours to slowly go through the park, enjoy the views and eat at the local restaurant. Personal is nice and patient with foreigners who doesn’t speak Chinese. Also if you came with a big bag you can leave it in the locker nearby the entrance, which will cost you 30 to 50 RMB. I won’t recommend to buy warm clothes at the local store-too pricey. 9/10

#createwithtrip Getting There - From Shenzhen, we took a private car straight to Yingde. This was a long drive. I would recommend taking the fast train as it takes only an hour and there are plenty of trains going there throughout the day. We spent the first night at a nearby town (separate post) so we still had to drive a bit to this attraction on the second day. To reach the glass bridge you have options, you can hike (lots of stairs) or you can take the belt. We hiked the bit leading to the belt then we belted up. This was a really fascinating experience as I’ve never seen this anywhere else, I also don’t often go visit glass bridges though so it may be common. To get down we took the slide.
