So beyond incredible definitely worth the trip. The taxi is about 1000baht ($40) and entering the sanctuary is 1500baht but it’s so worth it and goes to such a good cause. The workers are so wonderful and so caring towards the animals and you can tell how ethical the centre is. Seriously so beyond wonderful.

#songkran2024 Absolutely amazing day spent with elephants rescued from the cruelty of what most tourists think is normal when visiting Thailand. Here there is no riding, chains or abuse just fun, play, education and lots of mud!! Easily the highlight of our trip to such a beautiful wonderful country and cannot recommend this enough. There is no push for donations, or guilt to give money - the main focus is education of how fantastic these animals are, and how the majority of tourist based elephant experiences are not elephant friendly. Please please please take the time to visit, you will no regret it!

Listening to these stories, I deeply felt the fragility of elephants and the importance of protecting them. 🐘❤️🤝 During the guided tour, I also had the opportunity to participate in feeding and bathing the elephants. I took the fresh food and handed it to the elephants carefully. Watching them enjoy the food with contentment, I felt extremely happy and satisfied. Next, we went to the pool together to help the elephants take a bath. Watching the elephants playing in the water and enjoying the coolness, I felt a deep connection with these amazing creatures. 🐘💦🛁 This journey to the Green Elephant Sanctuary Park made me deeply realize the importance of love and care. I highly recommend this Green Elephant Sanctuary they treat the elephants really good, the booking is very easy though the green elephant sanctuary website and they contact you by the method you give them (wechat, whatsapp etc) to confirm your hotel address for pick up and I had to go back to the hotel to get my bags then go to the airport and I didn't know you can change the drop off, they offered to take me to the airport but i didnt have my bags 🙃 Here you feed the elephants, get dirty with them then bathe them when we finish they prepared a really delicious buffet.
