I set off for a 5-day and 4-night trip to Phu Quoc Island in early December... I stayed in four hotels on the 5th day~ The hotels had been booked a few months ago, so I had completely forgotten about them before departure 😂 Actually, the main purpose of this trip was Relax~ No special itinerary planned! Traveling to Phu Quoc Island generally involves going to the north, central and south, or island hopping. It takes about 2 hours to drive from north to south. The airport is located in the middle, so it is recommended to stay near the airport on the first or last night. 🚕Transportation: call Grab ☀️Weather: May-October rainy season, December-April will be relatively dry, and the temperature does not vary much throughout the year Day1 Hong Kong Airport to Phu Quoc Island - Afternoon flight, it was already 7pm when we arrived at Phu Quoc Island. Phu Quoc Island is 1 hour behind Hong Kong. A new place to visit in Phu Quoc that inaugurated at the end of 2020!! Grand World Phu Quoc is an entertainment and shopping complex belonging to Phu Quoc United Center that located right at Long Beach in Ganh Dau Commune. Departing from the airport, it takes around 40 min to be there and FREE Vin bus offered for all the tourists. For those who travel to Phu Quoc, you may take a half day trip to visit there (recommend after 5 pm) and enjoy the water/laser show at 10 pm. Alternatively, rent a place (1 night) inside the Grand World like us and you can take your time to explore the place!! #grandworldphuquoc #vietnam

Since it was sunny in the morning, and the island provides free electric bus services across the entire island, we decided to visit Grand World. When we were on the bus, reality hits us as it started pouring rain… We thought the rain would be on and off because of the tropical weather but we were wrong loll, it only stopped raining during the evening… Long story short, as you can tell from the picture, we explored Grand World in heavy pouring rain and got all drenched hahaha We spent the most time at the teddy bear museum since it is indoor. I always went to Lotteria in Grand World, but I went there once. It's a place where you can grill meat, and we ordered a la carte. The side dishes were tastier than I thought, and the food was okay. The staff was really friendly, and there were a lot of staff, so they refilled the side dishes right away even if you just emptied a little bit. The price was about 9,000 won! It said it was open from 11:30 AM to 10 PM. #Phu Quoc places to visit

Planning a trip to Phu Quoc Island on January 1, 2025, is like stepping into a painting. The scenery is breathtaking, and the hotels are stunning. I highly recommend everyone to visit. Phu Quoc Island is relatively small and can be divided into the north, central, and south regions. The northern part is closer to Vinpearl Land and Phu Quoc United Center (make sure to take the guided tour car at Phu Quoc United Center; the guide we met was amazing at taking photos, capturing beautiful shots at every stop). The central area is more vibrant at night (Vietnamese girls are beautiful and affordable 🫣), with most of the excitement happening there. However, the hotels in the north and south are mostly resort-style, so the scenery varies. The south has a stunning sunset town, Kiss Bridge, and a must-see water and fireworks show that lasts for five minutes, providing a visual feast. The food is cheap, and the accommodations are not expensive. If you skip the nightlife, you can enjoy a luxurious trip for around 30,000. We stayed in the central area on the first day, then moved to the northern Movenpick Resort for the second and third days (the most recommended hotel of the trip). On the fourth and fifth days, we stayed at the southern Emerald Bay Resort (also recommended, just a five-minute walk to the beach). The food was perfect for our taste, with spicy chilies and a variety of flavors in a single bowl of beef pho. I highly recommend this trip.

Everything is clean and well decorated with flowers. Shops inside the town are not that expensive. You can buy souvenirs and snacks inside. There is a boat ride which is pretty interesting. And of course the beach is really nice. With long trees making a perfect shade to chill. There is even a volleyball court there. Enjoy!

Phu Quoc Island is an amazing place. There is so much to see there. We didn't plan to visit Grand World, but in the end we didn't regret going there. It's not only an entertainment center with a colorful Venice, it's also a place where you can experience Vietnam and eat good local food. You can get there by free buses no. 17 and 19, or quite cheaply by Grab. There are also bus stops nearby for buses to VinWonders amusement park and safari.
