[2025 Phu Quoc Island Attraction] Travel Guide for Grand World Phu Quoc (Updated Jan)

I set off for a 5-day and 4-night trip to Phu Quoc Island in early December... I stayed in four hotels on the 5th day~ The hotels had been booked a few months ago, so I had completely forgotten about them before departure 😂 Actually, the main purpose of this trip was Relax~ No special itinerary planned! Traveling to Phu Quoc Island generally involves going to the north, central and south, or island hopping. It takes about 2 hours to drive from north to south. The airport is located in the middle, so it is recommended to stay near the airport on the first or last night. 🚕Transportation: call Grab ☀️Weather: May-October rainy season, December-April will be relatively dry, and the temperature does not vary much throughout the year Day1 Hong Kong Airport to Phu Quoc Island - Afternoon flight, it was already 7pm when we arrived at Phu Quoc Island. Phu Quoc Island is 1 hour behind Hong Kong. If you book a free hotel shuttle bus, it takes about 20 minutes to drive to the hotel. -It only takes about 5 minutes to walk from the hotel to Phu Quoc Night Market, and dinner will be arranged at Phu Quoc Night Market that night Day 2 Arrive at the South~Hotel -Sunset Town -Cross-sea cable car -Sun World～Water Park -kissing bridge -Fireworks show in the town at sunset at night Day 3 Arrive in central China~Hotel -Hotel Spa -Lunch at a restaurant near the hotel (there are shops on both sides of the road, you can also sit down and try Vietnamese coffee) - Spend a full day in the hotel, swim in the sun and watch the sunset -Dinner will be at the hotel Day4 to the north~Resort -The resort in the north is quite big, with two swimming pools and a beach. Grand World Phu Quoc is located in Vietnam and officially opened on April 21, 2021. This city is known as the city that never sleeps, offering fun and entertainment to tourists. At 7:30 PM, there is a light and sound show, and the canals on both sides are modeled after the canals of Venice, Italy. The buildings and architecture are in European style, making it a very beautiful city. There is also a water taxi service for a boat tour of the city. Traveling there is convenient, as it takes only 50 minutes by plane from Bangkok.

Recommended seafood restaurant in Phu Quoc Grand World. Mai Hương Restaurant has a spacious indoor and outdoor area, and although the prices change daily, they have a fixed price system. As a tourist spot, it's a bit more expensive than the night market, but it's very affordable compared to Korea. Especially, the seasoning really suits the Korean palate. Since it was sunny in the morning, and the island provides free electric bus services across the entire island, we decided to visit Grand World. When we were on the bus, reality hits us as it started pouring rain… We thought the rain would be on and off because of the tropical weather but we were wrong loll, it only stopped raining during the evening… Long story short, as you can tell from the picture, we explored Grand World in heavy pouring rain and got all drenched hahaha We spent the most time at the teddy bear museum since it is indoor. Getting There - via Taxi/grab, motorbike rent/tours will took around 20 minutes or about 40 minutes for Phu Quoc airport Attractions - venice canals, venice-like gondola ride, teddy bear museum, beach, cultural show, the Quaintessence show Hotels - abundance of 1 to 5 star hotels available Food & Restaurants - locals food outlets & international food brands such as Lotteria. At night there will be local night market. Sadly (for muslim) there is still no halal food available. You may opt for seafood or vegetarian instead. Location - Grand World, Phu Quoc Admission ticket fee - RM55/adult (bought via Trip.com).You’ll get a booking confirmation number and you have to redeem at the ticketing counter near Water Taxi stop when you first arrive at Grand World Entrance Time - every day at 20:15 till 21:00 It was an amazing show,you must visit this ! Incredible show involving lots of dancing,martial arts, sketches etc (however the whole show was in Vietnamese language,they only spoke English during the introduction). Toilet is available under the seating area.They have mini shows at selected timing for free too (during daytime). No food/drinks sold inside. I always went to Lotteria in Grand World, but I went there once. It's a place where you can grill meat, and we ordered a la carte. The side dishes were tastier than I thought, and the food was okay. The staff was really friendly, and there were a lot of staff, so they refilled the side dishes right away even if you just emptied a little bit. The price was about 9,000 won! It said it was open from 11:30 AM to 10 PM. #Phu Quoc places to visit

Phu Quoc Island is an amazing place. There is so much to see there. We didn't plan to visit Grand World, but in the end we didn't regret going there. It's not only an entertainment center with a colorful Venice, it's also a place where you can experience Vietnam and eat good local food. You can get there by free buses no. 17 and 19, or quite cheaply by Grab. There are also bus stops nearby for buses to VinWonders amusement park and safari.

Let's skip the tiring part of catching the plane and enjoy some highlights of my 1st day in Phú Quốc, being immersed in the vibrancy of the Grand World.

Grand World Phu Quoc features architecture that resembles Venice, which is incredibly beautiful. Especially in the morning, the light is perfect, and it's not crowded. Most people arrive around 9 AM, but if you go at 6 AM, the lighting is ideal for taking beautiful photos without the hustle and bustle. You can take pictures from the streets and around the area. Going early is not too tiring, and the weather is just right. The surroundings include well-maintained gardens, a small playground, and a lot of greenery, making it even more beautiful. When visiting Phu Quoc Island, don't forget to take a stroll and snap some photos.

Grand World Food Court Restaurant, walk from the front of Grand World through to the back next to the sea. There will be a restaurant in a fairly good location, beautiful beach, with seats by the sea, chill atmosphere. The food is quite cheap compared to the location. The prices are a bit higher for seafood that is sold by the kilo, but only one-dish meals, local food such as shrimp spring rolls, stir-fried vegetable pho, or general food, including various drinks. The prices are OK for tourists like us.

I visited Ai Phuong Spa in the northern part of Grand World Phu Quoc, and I was very satisfied ☀️ First of all, they offer pickup & drop-off services, which can help save on transportation costs in Phu Quoc, where transportation isn't cheap. For the welcome food, they serve a whole fresh mango sliced up, along with a variety of Vietnamese snacks including Top Jelly. As a Top Jelly lover, it was a truly happy moment for me. Especially, the private rooms are equipped with clean shower facilities. So, after the massage, you can take a refreshing shower and continue your day without feeling sticky from the oil. I was amazed at how well they cater to Korean preferences. It really felt like they understand what Koreans want. Most importantly, the massage skills were excellent. Both my companion and I were very satisfied! Since it's located inside Grand World, it's perfect to visit around sunset, relax with a spa treatment, and then watch the Grand World fountain show before heading out!

it always nice to visit the same place in the day and night. you will see the difference. one good example is the Grand World @Phu Quou island. located at the northern part of the island, it will takes you almost 35 minutes from city center, Doung Dong. the must visit is the Bamboo house which is a spectacular structure. see him in the day and night. next the canal, it is so beautiful at night do come and discover for yourself.
