This palace is much less crowded than Versailles, so you can take your time exploring. The pink exterior is just so cute, I think I prefer this one to Versailles?! A great visit for a weekend sunny day! Beautiful walk from chateau de Versailles (€12 entry to garden), 25-min walk and overall worth it. Itinerary Scheduling: If you are staying in Paris I recommend you to do a day trip to Versailles. You will get lost in the multitude of rooms and palaces and gardens. My recommendation is the Gran Trianon. If you are like me, someone that enjoys the details and not to be on a rush I would recommend you just to go to the Grand Trianon and enjoy the day getting lost in each of the corners of the palace.
