Come to Macau to SEE THIS!
The outer design of the Grand Lisboa in Macau is especially captivating. Its iconic lotus-flower shape, with layers that resemble petals, creates a dramatic and unique silhouette against the skyline. The building's golden, reflective façade enhances its visibility and adds a dazzling effect, especially when illuminated at night. The contrast between the sleek, modern lines and the traditional Chinese elements makes it a compelling subject for photographers and a landmark that stands out in the Macau skyline.
To capture the Grand Lisboa effectively, consider these spots:
1. **Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro**: This main road offers a good vantage point for wide shots of the hotel’s distinctive façade.
2. **Nam Van Lake**: The area around the lake provides reflective water views of the Grand Lisboa, adding depth and interest to your photos.
3. **From the Macau Tower**: The observation deck offers panoramic views, including a striking perspective of the Grand Lisboa amidst the cityscape.
4. **Nearby Casinos and Hotels**: Various locations around the building, such as the Wynn Palace or the Lisboa Hotel, offer unique angles and close-up opportunities.
5. **Ruins of St. Paul's**: The contrast between the historic ruins and the modern Grand Lisboa in the background can make for a compelling photograph.
Each location provides a different perspective, helping to capture the grandeur and unique architecture of the Grand Lisboa.

Macau Summer Fun Tour, Detailed Play Guide Please Keep
Carefully count, Macau is actually the city with the most World Heritage sites in China.
Walking on the streets of Macau, feeling the collision of new and old cultures, every step has a story of time.
The Ruins of St. Paul's, spanning several centuries, whispering silently in the wind, guarding the Macau Peninsula, witnessing the ever-changing and thriving Macau. Next to the Ruins of St. Paul's, Love Lane, Macau Museum, and Mount Fortress are also great check-in spots. The street in front of the Ruins of St. Paul's is famous for its souvenir shops, where you can try Phoenix Rolls, Pineapple Buns, Portuguese Egg Tarts, and Beef Jerky.
The Guia Lighthouse on Guia Hill is one of Macau's eight scenic spots, and next to it are the Macau Point and the Chapel of Our Lady of Guia.
There are many places worth checking in on the Macau Peninsula, and you can take a few days to experience them slowly.
Finding food in the streets and alleys of the historic district and accidentally encountering a unique small shop is also a very interesting thing.
In addition, the Taipa Houses-Museum (Portuguese-style buildings, suitable for photography), Coloane, Hac Sa Beach, and Rua do Cunha (a street full of souvenir shops) are all very distinctive.
Classic night views: Senado Square and the area around the Ruins of St. Paul's, Guia Lighthouse, Macau Tower, Cotai Strip, etc.
Recommended hotels: Galaxy, Grand Lisboa, Lisboa Palace, The Parisian, The Londoner, The Venetian, Wynn, etc.
🎉Cool Play Macau Market: Every Friday to Sunday, and during the National Day Golden Week, from 2 pm to 8 pm, the exhibition hall of the Ritz Building will be transformed into a sea of joy. Here, there are not only dreamy installations with the theme of "McDull", but also the infinite fun of the "Cool Play Macau Market".
🍲The 10th Malaysian Cultural Food Festival: From July 18 to 31, embark on a dual journey of taste buds and culture. The buffet dinner is paired with the lively Malaysian market, allowing you to enjoy authentic Malaysian style without leaving the country.
In addition, from July 25 to 28, the Guangdong-Macao Famous Products Fair will grandly open in Pavilion D.
There is also good news recently, that is, for those entering Macau, if the total value of luggage items obtained abroad and carried for personal reasonable use does not exceed RMB 12,000, they can enjoy duty-free entry. In addition, for travelers arriving at ports with inbound duty-free shops, the policy also allows them to purchase a certain amount of duty-free goods in the duty-free shop. When the total value of these duty-free goods and the personal reasonable use luggage items carried by the traveler does not exceed RMB 15,000, they can also enjoy duty-free customs clearance. This new policy has been piloted at some ports and will be fully promoted to all inbound ports from August 1, 2024, except for the Hengqin "first-line" port.
🎨The First Macau International Children's Art Festival Kicks Off: From now until September 1, an art feast specially created for children is in full swing, inspiring children's infinite creativity and imagination. Macau Two-Day Tour (Taipa + Peninsula) Includes Mind Map
Day 1: Taipa Island
Route: 🚉 Hengqin Port Entry (We stayed near Zhuhai Airport on the first day, the light rail takes 20 minutes to Hengqin Port, which is very fast and less crowded compared to Gongbei Port) ➡️ Galaxy ➡️ Rua do Cunha ➡️ The Parisian ➡️ The Londoner ➡️ The Venetian ➡️ Return to Port
🥣 Andrew's Egg Tart / Tiger Sugar Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea / Ze Xian Ji Egg Waffle / Mango Pomelo Sago
✅ To be precise, we only played for half a day on the first day. Each place is very close to each other, and it's totally fine to choose bus + walking. Rua do Cunha has many snacks and souvenirs, you can eat anything without disappointment. I regret not having a 1TB stomach. It is recommended to go to The Parisian for photos before it gets dark, and check in at The Londoner at night 📸. Finally, due to lack of time, we didn't go to Wynn Palace and City of Dreams, leaving something to look forward to for the next visit.
Day 2: Macau Peninsula
Route: 🚗 Gongbei Port Entry (Before entering, go to the nearby Gongbei Police Station Smart Service Hall for visa renewal, it gets a bit crowded at noon) ➡️ Grand Lisboa ➡️ Ruins of St. Paul's (Check in at a nearby Korean-style photo studio) ➡️ Rua da Felicidade (A dopamine-filled alley, great for photos) ➡️ Rua Nova do Monte ➡️ MGM Macau (Free pearl milk tea and snacks) ➡️ Wynn Macau (Watch the free Tree of Prosperity show)
🥣 Found a random cafe near the hotel, filled with many elderly people and students. Ordered pork chop bun / chicken coconut milk noodles / curry beef tendon rice, each dish was absolutely delicious and portions were generous.
🏨 Accommodation: Jinjiang Inn Macau Border Gate Hotel (Very close to Gongbei Port and Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Port, the environment and facilities are very new, high cost performance)
✅ Compared to the glitz and glamour of Taipa Island, Macau Peninsula has a more rustic and down-to-earth vibe, and the lifestyle is very similar to the mainland. The local residents we met, such as the aunties in the shops and the grandpas we met at the bus stops, were all very friendly and tried their best to communicate in Mandarin. There is no sense of exclusion at all. I really love the local customs and culture of Macau.

「Grand Lisboa Hotel」Luxurious rooms, enjoy a completely relaxing and luxurious experience.
Grand Lisboa Hotel rooms and suites are equipped with a steam room, a 60 cm diameter tropical rainforest shower head, a multi-directional massage bathtub, a 40-inch TV, and a 5.1 surround sound system. The bathroom even features a wall-embedded mirror TV, providing guests with a completely relaxing and luxurious experience. Stepping into the lobby of the Grand Lisboa Hotel, the unique Sino-Portuguese architectural style is immediately apparent. One after another, the brilliant crystal chandeliers complement the splendid mosaic decorations, vying for attention as if winking at the travelers. The marble floors and the majestic staircase leading to the second floor, every detail showcases the extraordinary grandeur of the Grand Lisboa Hotel. However, what is special is that the lobby of the Grand Lisboa Hotel often sees many tourists who are not staying at the hotel eagerly taking photos, because every piece of decoration in the lobby is a priceless Western treasure.

Macau | The best photo spots to avoid the crowds are here
2️⃣3️⃣: Near the hotel under the big clock, many sisters take beautiful pictures at night, but I think sunset shots are also good👌
4️⃣: Walk from the Grand Lisboa to the Ruins of St. Paul's, there is a traffic light🚥 right here!
5️⃣6️⃣: The higher the steps on the side of the Ruins of St. Paul's, the better, and the fewer people, the better to climb up from below😂 I took my photo in the middle and it turned out pretty well without capturing people!
7️⃣: On the left side of the Ruins of St. Paul's, there is a slope going down to a small alley, stand on the steps, and have your helper stand below⬇️ for a perfect panorama

A Day Trip to Macau, Who is Macau Suitable For?
A family went on a trip to Zhuhai, mainly to take the kids to Chimelong in Zhuhai, and incidentally to take the elderly father to check in more cities. The strategy was made because Macau is very close, so they took a day to cross the border at Hengqin and completed the Macau city walk.
Who is Macau suitable for?
To put it simply: people who are willing to spend money.
Macau is not big, and just a city walk for checking in and taking photos can be completed in 1-2 days. Compared to Hong Kong, I think it is more orderly, lively but not chaotic, prosperous, but also well-planned.
If you are a budget traveler like me, then in Macau you can spend a whole day without spending a penny. The airport, ports, and Macau Tower have free shuttle buses from various major hotels, no credentials needed, just get on the bus. There is usually a bus every 15-20 minutes. Grand Lisboa, Wynn Macau (Wynn Palace), and MGM (Lion MGM) on the Macau Peninsula and Taipa offer free shuttle services, and then the major hotels are not far from each other, basically within walking distance, and close to the main attractions.
All entertainment venues offer free snacks and drinks, as long as you are of age, you can come and go freely, and fill your stomach without spending a penny.
Since you can play for a whole day without spending a penny, why do I still say Macau is suitable for people who are willing to spend money?
Firstly, Macau is very small, the Ruins of St. Paul's, the Monte Fort, museums, and wandering through the streets, a standard city walk can be completed in 2-3 hours.
Secondly, if you look at everyone's check-in photos, they are basically at the Ruins of St. Paul's, Grand Lisboa Hotel, and various major hotels. So, apart from the standard city walk, another theme of check-ins in Macau is the hotels. The hotels have free performances every hour, but these performances are really just for the sake of it, and not worth buying a plane ticket for a special trip. The cable car, the tower, and various hotel scenes are also very nice, but again not worth a special trip just for a check-in, though they are a good choice if you're passing by.
The free snacks and drinks are very considerate, and some taste quite good, but they are more suitable for sitting down for afternoon tea to enjoy the hotel scenery after a tiring walk. As for the main meals, relying on these freebies can be too much and too sweet.
If you come to Macau and don't go to casinos or buy luxury goods, and taking trendy photos for check-ins is not your main theme, then half the fun of Macau will be lost.
In summary, Macau is great, but whether it is suitable for a few days of play still depends on where your interests lie.

A one-day tour guide for Macau is here
Warm tips🔔: Be sure to carry less stuff with you, wear a pair of comfortable shoes🥿, and be prepared for a lot of walking.
After crossing the border at Gongbei, taking the 'fortune bus' to Macau's attractions is free, but you need to queue. If you don't want to wait, you can take the bus, but be sure to have either Macanese Pataca or Hong Kong dollars ready, as the bus does not accept WeChat or Alipay QR code payments.
The Ruins of St. Paul's are very crowded, so make sure to take photos from a distance for the best view. You can walk to a small path on the adjacent hill to take pictures.
My route is⚠️
Grand Lisboa➡️Ruins of St. Paul's➡️The Venetian➡️The Parisian➡️The Londoner➡️Wynn Palace
👀❗️Starting from The Venetian, these attractions are all nearby and can be visited together by walking. ⛲️Wynn Palace has a musical fountain and a free cable car ride, but you have to queue.
Overall, it's quite nice, just a bit tiring on the feet🦶, and you can take great photos everywhere~

Life Advice! One must definitely capture these 5 spots when in Macau!
As someone who suffers from severe photo-taking embarrassment,
I surprisingly received a lot of compliments from friends on the photos I took in Macau this time!
I've summarized the photo-taking formula for going out as
Natural + Atmospheric + Don't focus on the face!
With a nice filter, taking good photos really becomes easier!
1️⃣ Ruins of St. Paul's
Ruins of St. Paul's Archway
The iconic Ruins of St. Paul's in Macau, to avoid a crowded shot, you must go at night! Find the steps and flowerbeds at the Ruins of St. Paul's, place the camera low and shoot from above, casually play with your phone or enjoy the scenery, the photos will turn out super natural and beautiful.
2️⃣ Grand Lisboa
Grand Lisboa Hotel
If you're staying on Macau Island, don't miss this spot! It's just a little way inside the alley next to the 7-11 opposite the Grand Emperor Hotel, and you can see the Grand Lisboa. Stand by the roadside looking at or away from the camera, the atmosphere is super strong! I took photos here during the day and at night, and personally, I prefer the night shot.
3️⃣ Eiffel Tower at The Parisian
The best spot is in the park next to The Londoner! The green lawn is really beautiful, and if you're like me with not much expressiveness, just walk back and forth in front of the Eiffel Tower and have a friend snap photos, the more exaggerated the live action, the better.
4️⃣ Wynn Palace
I really love the fountain and cable car at Wynn Palace, and they are super easy to photograph, but there are also super many people!!! My photo-taking embarrassment kicked in instantly... You can find a spot that is slightly facing the hotel, wait for a cable car to pass by, and then face slightly towards the camera, it would be even more beautiful with the fountain (which I didn't wait for 😭).
5️⃣ Macau Museum
Macau Museum
Sisters heading to the fort can mark this spot! The white walls of the Macau Museum are really photogenic, and I think it looks better on rainy days than sunny days, the retro vibe of Macau Island and a black umbrella🌂 are a perfect match!

Macau | Two-day Travel, Eating, and Shopping Guide
An average of twenty thousand steps a day, the streets are perfect for a citywalk in Macau!!
It just so happened to be the Spring Festival holiday, and it was super crowded.
Two days are enough for the Macau Peninsula and Taipa.
🔸Day1 Arrived at the hotel at noon but couldn't check in yet, usually after 3 pm. Stored the luggage and went to the nearby Fisherman's Wharf (picture 2) and had a brief visit to the Sands. It was about time to get the room card.
In the afternoon, took a taxi to Guia Lighthouse (picture 6, the scenery is good both halfway up the hill and at the top) - walked down to Guia Hill Street - Ruins of St. Paul's - Love Lane - Church of St. Dominic - Municipal Affairs Bureau Building (picture 7) - San Ma Lo (many gold shops) - Grand Lisboa - Old Wynn (pictures 14, 15, the Money Tree performance is worth seeing, there's one every hour) - MGM Peninsula
🔸Day2 Set off at noon, took bus 28a from the hotel next to Amizade Road to Rua do Cunha station (6 mop/person, cash only, during the Spring Festival there are route adjustments, got off one stop early) - Rua do Cunha (pictures 9, 10) - Galaxy (has a complete range of jewelry brands, the only hw in Macau is here) - Venetian (picture 17, didn't take the gondola as it was too crowded, mainly trendy brands here) - Four Seasons (also has a good range of luxury brands) - Parisian (picture 34, the stairs next to it are great for photos!!) - Londoner (picture 5) - MGM Cotai - Wynn Palace (pictures 1, 12, 13, the fountain show is stunning, changes with the music)
Because I had to go back to Galaxy to use the consumption voucher, I finally took the light rail from Cotai East Station to Pai Kok Station, just in time to see the beautiful night view of Macau again🌃
🔹tips: 1. You don't need to exchange too much cash, besides taking the bus and some snack shops, you can mostly pay with your phone 🎲 exchanged with Hong Kong dollars.
2. If you're buying souvenirs, there's no need to buy them too early. There are shops not only at attractions but also in many other places, otherwise, you'll have to carry them around which is inconvenient.
3. The Four Seasons, Venetian, Parisian, and Londoner hotels all have corridors that interconnect, pay attention to the signs or ask the staff.
4. There's no need to queue at very popular shops; there are many authentic snack shops, make sure to leave time to go where you want.
5. For accommodation, it's recommended to stay near a major location. I was going to HK later, so I stayed near the Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal. There are free shuttle bus stops at various hotels that you can take. On the last night, I took the shuttle bus from Galaxy to the ferry terminal and walked 5 minutes to the hotel.
Great food, shopping, and sightseeing, will come again!!

Macau One-Day Tour Guide | Crossing the Border at Zhuhai Qingmao Port
【Departure and Crossing the Border】Plan your Macau travel guide well, choose to cross the border at Zhuhai Qingmao Port, where the flow of people is relatively small, saving time and effort.
【Tour Route】
After coming out of Qingmao Port, walk a few hundred meters to reach the No. 12 bus stop, take the bus to the Ruins of St. Paul. Avoid the queue for the hotel shuttle bus, save time and effort! The bus fare is only 3 yuan, and there are not many people.
Upon arriving at the Ruins of St. Paul, you can stroll to the Casa Garden and the pink house for photos📸. Then, go to the Grand Lisboa to enjoy free milk tea and pomegranate juice, which is really good! Then go to MGM to taste free dim sum and fresh milk, and enjoy the food! The main thing is to get a good deal🐑
In the afternoon, take the bus to Taipa (the newer area). The old area retains many residential buildings and down-to-earth restaurants, which are good value for money. In Taipa, it's like being in a world of glitz and glamour! The afternoon sun is just right, first go to 【Parisian】 to check in the Eiffel Tower, and find the best shooting position. Then go to the Londoner and stroll around the British-style mall.
As it gets dark, the whole Taipa is brightly lit, and it's too stunning! At this time, go to the Venetian, cross the sky bridge, and immerse yourself in the gorgeous night✨
【Do you need to exchange MOP】Not at all!! Use HKD to cover all expenses. The experience of exchange rate loss can be avoided!
【Bus】Download the m-pay app! The bus payment method used by locals, convenient and affordable. Remember to use m-pay, it only costs 3 yuan to get off the bus. Convenient mpay recharge service can also be done in convenience stores. Some🐟 mall can also provide recharge.
【Exit】Take the No. 8 bus from near the Venetian to the Hengqin Port for exit. Safe and convenient!😊🌟🌆

Macau colorful streets!!!
one cannot talk about Macau Street without mentioning its world-famous colourful street and hotels. These dazzling establishments are nothing short of remarkable. As I strolled along the street, I couldn't help but be awestruck by the beautiful facades and the grandeur they exude.
Exploring Macau Street also allows you to uncover hidden gems, such as small boutiques selling traditional handicrafts, colorful street art, and quaint tea houses. It's the perfect place to immerse yourself in the local culture, interact with friendly locals, and perhaps even pick up som

Macau Military Club Restaurant (Clube Militar
#tripblazers #mytripvlog #2023travelwish #celebratewithtrip #campingglamping.
The Macau Military Club (traditional Chinese: 澳門陸軍俱樂部; simplified Chinese: 澳门陆军俱乐部; pinyin: Àomén Lùjūn Jùlèbù; Portuguese: Clube Militar de Macau) is a club and restaurant in Sé, Macau, China.
You can't beat this historic icon for atmosphere; it was built in 1870 for military officers as a recreational and educational facility. An attractive colonial building painted pink and white, with balconies and louvered windows, it still functions as a private club, but since 1995 its restaurant has been open to the public. Its period dining room is delightful, with tall ceilings, teak floorboards, ceiling fans, and display cases containing antique Chinese dishware. Its changing menu lists a variety of codfish dishes (like the filet of roasted codfish in a crust of olives and herbs, puree of chickpeas and emulsion of roasted tomato) and seafood and meat choices, including lamb carre roasted in Portuguese sauce, potatoes, and fried garlic, along with a daily special. The set lunch, which includes a choice of main dish plus soup and a buffet spread for appetizers, salad, and desserts, offers good value, while its list of Portuguese wines is impressive. This restaurant is very popular with the locals, for obvious reasons.
