Shanghai travel, highly recommended, Kempinski Hotel
At the Shanghai Bund Kempinski Hotel, I had an amazing stay for only around 400 per person, which is a great value for money! I booked an executive river view room, which had a great location and a view of the Oriental Pearl Tower, which made me very happy. The room was spacious, with a classic yet luxurious decor, and I could enjoy the view from the bed, which was a real treat. The bathroom was also well designed, with double sinks for convenience. Although the room was a corner room, which was a bit lacking in privacy, the great view and layout made up for it. The hotel amenities were also of high quality, such as the Dyson hair dryer, which was amazing. The lobby was grand, and the service was impeccable, with a quick and easy check-in process and someone to guide me to the elevator, which made me feel like a VIP. This stay was definitely worth the money and left a lasting impression! Hey, have you heard? The ham salami and smoked salmon are amazing! There are so many hot dishes to choose from, including chicken and duck. There are also a variety of main courses, such as fried rice, pasta, and sushi rolls, which are comparable to those of well-known hotels!
Let me tell you a secret, their pool and gym are on the 30th floor, the pool is 20 meters long, 8 meters wide, and 1.5 meters deep, clean and clear, with a sauna and hot spring pool next to it. The gym is simple, but it can meet your daily exercise needs.
The hotel is also in a great location, right on the banks of the Huangpu River, in the heart of Lujiazui, with convenient transportation and a variety of commercial facilities such as Super Brand Mall and IFC. However, one thing that is not very satisfactory is that if you book an executive room through a certain platform, you are told that you have to buy breakfast to enjoy the lounge service, which is not the same as the executive room including executive privileges. I hope the hotel can improve in this area to give us a better experience. To be honest, the breakfast at this hotel is quite varied, but it is mainly Western, and if you want to find some Shanghai-style breakfast, sorry, there are not many options, and you have to go early, as it is crowded during peak hours. As for the pool changing room, it is small, with few showers, and if you go late, you may not be able to take a shower. But then again, the benefits of this hotel are not to be underestimated, and overall, it is a comfortable place to stay, and I recommend everyone to try it.
