#taipei Cafe Grand Hyatt Taipei Address: 1F, 2 Songshou Road, Xinyi District, Taipei City Located near Taipei 101, Cafe Grand Hyatt Taipei offers a huge variety of dishes and desserts for their afternoon tea spread. Starting from 3pm, the 2 hour buffet has a variety of fresh sashimi, cold seafood selection, salad bar, hot dishes from various cuisines, bread and more. There are also a huge variety of cakes and pastries, a Matcha fondue, and a total of 8 different Haagen Dazs ice cream flavours. Even though there's a long queue before 3pm, kudos to the professionalism of all the staff and cleared the queue quickly and brought each of us to our tables. The lighting is warm and even though the restaurant is busy, the staff were all very polite and professional. Overall, it was a great experience and I enjoyed the 2 hour afternoon tea.

At 3 o'clock this afternoon, I invited Lawyer Luo to Cheers Lounge (Grand Hyatt Hotel) for afternoon tea. I ordered a fresh fruit plate, a pot of chrysanthemum tea, and a bowl of my favorite (braised beef noodles). I specialize in thick noodles, which are chewy and springy. The beef is Australian Wagyu, which is soft, tender, juicy and delicious. I ate it as afternoon tea. Lawyer Luo ordered a latte. We had a happy chat in an elegant environment. We had a good time sharing delicious food.

One of my favorite bars in Taipei, located on the first floor of Grand Hyatt, Taipei. The bar has outdoor seating, covered by a roof, so can enjoy your drink even on rainy days. The price for the drinks is a bit expensive, but in the afternoon they have some happy hours and sometimes have some promotions. Tonight, Sunday evening, I made a dinner appointment with my best friend Qingfen at the Italian restaurant Ziga Zana on the 2nd floor of the Grand Hyatt Hotel. I also gave her a box of mini custard mooncakes from the Peninsula Hotel in Hong Kong, which I give her every Mid-Autumn Festival. We ordered two set meals (prawn and salmon) (truffle mushroom pizza). The pumpkin soup had a rich and creamy texture, very delicious 😋 The pizza was exceptional, a must-try.

Today is my good friend Mr. Shi's birthday. I invited the (Hydrogen Capsule) Little Prince and Mr. Shi to the Grand Hyatt Hotel 2nd Floor (Bao Ai Hall) for a French meal. I ordered a table full of delicious dishes. The pre-dinner bread was really tasty 😋. The lobster and Wellington steak, Spanish ham, were all so delicious 😋. Paired with fresh pineapple and cashews, it was a unique culinary experience. The seafood chowder and black truffle mushroom soup were extremely flavorful 🌟. We had a great time enjoying the meal 😀. A fantastic birthday feast. Highly recommend this restaurant for its gourmet food.

Stayed for 2 nights for my birthday trip, hotel provided a complimentary cake. Toilet is very nice with bathtub and can view taipei 101 from the room.

The Grand Hyatt is a centrally located hotel, right by the famous Taipei 101 building on one side and the Sun Yat Sen memorial on the other. The rooms ooze of luxury and for a hotel in the center of the city, they are extremely spacious and nicely decorated. I especially liked the local Chinese aspect and art works. There was plenty of space to lounge around so the bed was not the only place to relax. Further the amenities were very sufficient. The bathroom was spacious and included Balmain amenity items; a very nice and luxurious touch! A very nice stay and a great choice to be in the center of everything. #explore #travel #taipei

Today, I invited Mr. Wu, who returned to Taipei from Singapore, and five friends to have lunch at the restaurant on the first floor (Cheers Lounge) of the Grand Hyatt Hotel. We wanted to smoke cigars after the meal, so we chose to sit outdoors. Mr. Wu was very happy. This outdoor seat is very spacious in the center of Taipei.
