This is not a day to be skipped. Honestly one of the best days we have had in Thailand. So much adrenaline and inner child unleashed. You pay a fixed price to have access to all the inflatables plus a go on the zip line. Grand Canyon Water Park has added large inflatable water sports facilities such as inflatable trampolines and slides, as well as new changing rooms, lifeguards, and water quality supervision.

#songkran2024 What a laugh this place is. Great fun navigating the obstacle courses and enjoying the zip line. We arrived at 10am just after opening and had no queues to contend with. It didn't really fill up till about 1pm but even at that it felt relatively quiet. The health and safety exec would have a field day at this place but we felt perfectly safe. Life jackets are provided and mandatory but many of the handles for climbing on the inflatables are damaged or missing. Take some kind of water shoes as the floor outside the changing rooms is extremely slippy and we did witness a young guy slip and fall on the tiles. I would still recommend for a visit as it makes for an extremely enjoyable day out. Between entry, lockers, food and drinks you'll spend the best part of 1500 baht per person but we felt this was well worth spending.

This is the entrance to Chiang Mai Water Park Grand Canyon. At the entrance to Chiang Mai Grand Canyon, there is a panda statue and the words Grand Canyon written on it. The right side is where you buy tickets and the left side is where you enter. When you buy a ticket and go to the entrance, they give you a wrist ticket on your wrist. Then they check if you have food in your bag. You can keep food, so you have to leave it all behind. I brought 5 bottles of water, but you are not allowed to bring water in. All the food you brought was confiscated and you had to buy it at the water park store. All the water rides are air bouncers, and the lifeguards are here and there to help people and play with them. The water is very deep, and it seems to be much taller than an adult. It was really scary at first, but it was okay once I got used to the life jacket.
