Goto Retreat Ray in Fukue Island, Goto Islands, is a resort hotel with all 26 rooms featuring open-air baths and ocean views.✨ This time, I stayed in the Ocean View Open-Air Bath 1F Family Deluxe Room! From the large windows of the room, you can see the lawn, the vast sky, and glimpses of the blue sea in between.🌿 The open-air bath has a terrace area that is designed as a water basin, creating a stylish atmosphere. The reflection of the sky on the water surface was very beautiful.☻ The room accommodates up to 4 people, making it ideal for family or group trips.🥰

I stayed at Goto Retreat Ray on my trip to the Goto Islands. ⁡ It was a quiet inn that seemed to embody Goto, the island of prayer🏨 ⁡ From the moment you arrive, you can leave your car and luggage in the valet service, and the hospitality is excellent. ⁡ It's a small inn with 26 rooms, so you can feel at ease knowing that the staff will remember your name. ⁡ It's nice to have your name called every time you pass by. ⁡ And the moment you enter the lobby, you can see the ocean of Goto in its entirety. ⁡ In the morning, the morning sun was shining in, and you could even see Ray, as its name suggests✨ ⁡ It looked like an angel's ladder, and it was mysterious. Just opened in 2022 in the Goto Islands, the architectural design was by Yukio Hashimoto, who has worked on many stylish hotels, including The Peninsula Tokyo. The calculated "ocean view" is a picturesque space no matter where you look. Just looking at it gives you an indescribable sense of luxury. As the name "small luxury" suggests, it is quite small, but it is quiet and calm, which makes it even more comfortable. The view from the room is also spectacular, with the sea spreading across the entire window, making it a room that you don't want to leave. The lighting is also very particular, so the light in the room is very romantic even after the sun goes down. You can spend a very luxurious time with the words "unusual feeling" perfectly. We only had breakfast, but it was quite ordinary. There is a cafe and bakery nearby, so it might have been nice to bring some food from there and eat it in the room. The room amenities are stylish, and from shampoo and conditioner to lotion, they are all made with camellia oil. A hand-drip coffee bean set is included (and the soft drinks in the fridge are free), which was also delicious!
