If you don't want to drive, you can take a bus from the Chongqing Sikongli Transportation Hub to Pengshui, and then transfer to Gongtan. We set off from Chongqing at 7:00 am and drove along the Baomao Expressway. We got off at Pengshui West and drove along National Highway 211. The total distance is 278 km. Here's a reminder: When driving on National Highway 211, be sure to pay attention to the speed limit signs. Our three cars had just come off the expressway and didn't notice the 80 km/h speed limit sign. As a result, we were caught speeding by the Pengshui traffic police and had 3 points deducted from our licenses. Two of the cars were driving at 88 km/h.
