I went to Hulunbuir 5 times and summarized the guide. I came to a city because of a song.
"Hulunbuir grassland, white clouds float in the blue sky, the Morgele River bends again and again, and Aobao meets by the river. The story of Hulunbuir is hidden in this boundless green..." Huning "Hulunbuir Grassland", the vast and magnificent Hulunbuir, like a green ocean, slowly unfolds before my eyes like a dream paradise, attracting me to embark on a journey in this March when all things are revived😃.
🔵 Fun season
In March in Hulunbuir, the temperature is between -10℃ and 5℃. Although it is still chilly in spring, the earth is quietly sprouting. At this time, the snow on the grassland began to melt, the river broke the ice and flowed gently, and the curve of the Morgele River became more graceful against the backdrop of the remaining snow. It is a good time to feel the unique charm of Hulunbuir.
🔵Itinerary planning
D1: Hailar - Hulunbuir Ancient City - Hailar Baifuyue Hotel (overnight)
We arrived in Hailar in the morning and headed to the ancient city of Hulunbuir first. Walking in the ancient city, you will see old buildings standing on both sides of the bluestone road, with flying eaves and brackets. Although they have gone through the vicissitudes of time, they still exude a unique charm. Walk into the street shops and pick up some souvenirs with Mongolian characteristics. In the afternoon, stroll around the city of Hailar, feel the lively atmosphere of this grassland city, and taste delicious food such as hand-held meat and Buryat buns to make your taste buds cheer. In the evening, we checked into Hailar Baifuyue Hotel, which has a convenient location, complete surrounding facilities and comfortable rooms, allowing us to recharge our batteries for the journey.
D2: Morgele River - Golden Horde Mongolian Tribe - Ergun City Hotel (overnight)
We set out towards the Morgele River in the early morning, and the grassland scenery gradually unfolds along the way. After arriving, overlooking the Morgele River, the winding river meanders across the grassland like a silver ribbon. Stroll along the river, listen to the crisp sound of ice breaking, and breathe the cool and pure air. In the afternoon, we will go to the Golden Horde Mongolian Tribe, where the traditional yurt community is still preserved. You can watch wonderful Mongolian song and dance performances, experience horse riding, archery and other activities, and feel the strong Mongolian customs. Check into the Ergun City hotel in the evening to replenish supplies and prepare for subsequent trips.
D3: Ergun Wetland - Return
After breakfast, we headed to the Ergun Wetland, where ice and snow intertwined with fresh green. Strolling along the plank road, you will see half-thawed frozen soil under your feet, flying birds above your head, and rolling mountains and winding rivers in the distance.
