Glenorchy is a small, charming village down the road from Queenstown. The village is super picturesque, surrounded by mountains and Lake Wakatipu. In fact, this is also a famous lord of the rings filming site. So fans should come here!
Do not miss out on taking a photo with the iconic red Glenorchy shed and walk down the Glenorchy Wharf, enjoying the breeze and soaking up the view of the lakefront. Heard that the view is the best in Autumn with the autumn foliage.

Glenorchy, New Zealand
Glenorchy, New Zealand, is located at the northernmost tip of Lake Wakatipu and is also a filming location for the magical world, just 45 kilometers from Queenstown. Surrounded by mountains and forests, the area is majestic and lush with beautiful scenery. The lakes, rivers, grasslands, and pastures here are largely preserved in their natural state, known as the place with the most 'Middle-earth' character, where one can fully experience 100% pure New Zealand. The drive from Queenstown to this place follows Lake Wakatipu, with the lake on the left side of the road, flanked by high mountains on one side and the lake on the other, and is acclaimed as one of the top ten most beautiful self-drive routes in the world. Check-in spots include the red house, the seven trees, the trailside benches by the lake, and so on.

I haven't finished my heartbeat yet. We drove to another point to watch the day. It should be a park. I found that many children and adults are exercising here, some playing basketball, some with friends. Chatting, and we boarded the highlands and found the most beautiful sunset. It should be a pier. There are many boats docked at the dock. This is our best prospect. There are a lot of locked locks, tourists. The blessings are here.
My friends and I have been waiting for the sun to appear from nowhere, and then used the sun's rays to shoot a lot of portraits. In the end, we used a slow shutter to shoot the slow water picture. The slow shutter is also amazing, the combination of the boat lights, and the cruise ship, the three elements make the whole picture come alive.
