Gingerlily at Hilton hotel is one of the nicest high tea experience I’ve ever had! We love the ambience here, it’s really a good place to treat yourself and have a ladies gathering. We booked a table for 8 pax and it was nicely arranged when we were here. The service here is excellent!! We were so intrigued by the Japanese themed high tea, we love sushi and what’s best to have high quality sushi to start with our savoury course. My fav piece is the Foie gras sushi, it was so fatty and delicious! They also served us sashimi with yuzu dressing, which was really refreshing. We love ALL the sandos! We were so pressed by all the savoury courses. The sweet pastries are very very pretty, in fact it’s too pretty to eat. However, I prefer the savoury courses more. The sweet courses are nice, but not the best I’ve tasted. The strawberry pastry loos really pretty, but it tasted the weirdest 😅 it’s strawberry miso pastries, so it’s like sweet and salty? Maybe not my kind of food. The scone also not the best, it’s a bit too chewy for scones and it’s served cold? It’s a no no for me. The rest of the desserts are nice :) Bonus point here is they have wide range of tea selection, all the tea are so nice and fragrant! You’re entitled 2 drinks, can be coffee or tea. I had a cappuccino which was very well done and a ginger lily tea, I highly recommend this tea. Enjoy your high tea!
