Trip to Salzburg 🇦🇹
Just a short trip to Salzburg. On the first day, we were basically exploring the Old Town. We visited Mirabell Palace and Gardens which was built in 1606 by Prince-Archbishop Wolf Dietrich Raitenau for his mistress, Salome Alt. The palace and gardens are a stunning example of Baroque architecture and design. We spent sometime to walk around. The buildings were all very unique.

We also visited Mozart's Birthplace. The house where Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born on January 27, 1756. Now a museum dedicated to his life and work. They exhibited Mozart's early instruments, portraits, and original documents. Worth to visit ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We also visited the Salzburg Cathedral. A Baroque masterpiece originally founded in 774, the current structure was completed in 1628.

We then explored around Hellbrunn Palace and Trick Fountains. It was built in the early 17th century by Markus Sittikus, the palace is famous for its whimsical water features. Do visit the Trick fountains ⛲️ it was so beautiful 😍

We then visited the Untersberg Mountain 🏔️ The mountain has a mystical reputation and offers breathtaking views over Salzburg and into Bavaria. You can choose to take cable car ride, hiking trails to enjoy the panoramic views.

Last but not least, my favorite Leopoldskron Palace. It was built in 1736 by Archbishop Leopold Anton von Firmian, it later became famous as a filming location for "The Sound of Music."
We strolled around the lake, admired the palace's exterior as the interior is not open to the public 🥹
