There is a playground, a skating rink, a walking path, a viewing point, and public toilets. Chew Jetty, also known as the fishing community, is a village that has been awarded the Unesco World Heritage Site award. The houses in this community still maintain their original style. They are old wooden houses, mixed with Chinese art, jutting out into the sea. Here, there are restaurants, cafes, souvenir shops, and street art. At the end of the fishing village, there is also a shrine and a wide lawn where you can sit and enjoy the view. In the evening, there are a lot of people. We also watched the sunset at the shrine. It was very beautiful. Day 3 📍: Penang National Park Penang National Park has dense trees and many wildlife. Beautiful sea views. There are also hiking trails to various islands or boat services. You can buy a tour from the front. 💰 Entrance fee: 50 RM, use a student card to get off. 💰 Price: 20 RM Travel: Take bus no. 101 at Restoran Kapitan stop, get off at Taman Negara. 💰 Price: 4 RM Return: Walk to wait for a bus at Hub Teluk Bahang stop back into the city. 💰 Price: 3.5 RM Komtar is the tallest building on Penang Island. The windows were kept opened and allows ample flow of natural lighting in store! They offer a variety of drinks both caffeine and non caffeinated ones, with some pastries and cakes on the counter. Ordered their iced Japanese black tea as recommended by the barista and it was really good! Such a fragrant tea with a perfect balance with milk! Great place to have small talk and just chill! The café is minimalist with zen and peaceful vibes, love the rustic industrial kind of wall. The ambiance of the café was cozy and laid back, love the cushioned seats that we can lay our backs, was so comfortable we spent 2 hours here! They offer a great selection of coffee, we ordered their trio coffee which consist of a black, white and a tea! Coffee was good, an ideal place to hang out and chill on a hot day in Penang! Also, they do have some mini board games as well. Would love to revisit again!

This place is always my favourite place to grab matcha-Hojicha drinks or desserts. The store is a cozy quaint one, with very limited seats available (can fit about 10 person in the store). The entire store is often quiet and chill, with soft chit chattering of the patrons. Their matcha and Hojicha drinks were great, packed with umami, using top grade premium matcha-hojicha powder. They do serve desserts like dango, matcha cheesecake, we ordered their warabimochi and we love it! It was chewy and nicely coated with a thin layer of peanut. Such a hidden treasure in the heart of Penang! I wish to travel to Hong Kong for the food!

It is located at the lobby of Cititel Hotel, ample parking spaces available with a charge of RM6 per entry. Love the restaurant, the cushioned seats, lovely environment and ambiance. There are plenty of seatings available in the restaurant, and a few private rooms as well, able to fit larger groups of customers! #penangtrip Georgetown in penang is really a must see area when in this city. Whether you are visiting from a cruise or a tourist, this place will amaze you with the preserved culture where you see malay, chinese and indian along side each other. Alot of famous cafes, restos, museums, junks shops, market, street foods on this area. Some prices are touristy but if you more time to scout, you can also see local prices.

Malaysia was initially just a transit in Kuala Lumpur, but because the budget airline is very strict with luggage, instead of using that money to buy luggage allowance, it's better to take a train from Thailand, and on the way, you can visit George town, a small island where Chinese people gather and the goods are cheap. I might like this more than going to Langkawi or Semporna, the fact is, it's really beautiful, and I strongly recommend Chen Bridge to watch the sunset and listen to the sea breeze, it's very comfortable, the cost is really low, and there are many delicacies.

A Malaysian venture started out by a group of four friends who fell in love with the original THE VOLCANO in Chiang Mai, Thailand, the Japanese influence in its menu still come through nonetheless regardless the locality. With the cheese toasts like 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗮 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝗯𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗣𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁 as the establishment’s forefront items, it gives the much desired eating experience from the cheese pull to the warm, soft and milky texture of the cheese filling. Even for the cheese-free alternatives including 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘄𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆 & 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗣𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗙𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗧𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁, the french toast never fails to shine with its sweet and buttery scent complementing the flavourful and tart filling. With ample seating for varying group sizes and seating styles, it is a great location for an afternoon or evening chat over dessert. A lovely hotel located near the beach in Georgetown. From their rooftop swimming pool, you can get a great vista of the mainland and the ports across the straits. The hotel is not very tall but it is long. There are plenty of shops on the ground floor such as a convenience store, a cafe and a fine dining restaurant. I love their interior decoration. The is also a bar on the rooftop and an up and coming restaurant. The rooms are spacious and clean. The lighting design is very nice, and it exudes warmth and serenity. The room amenities are standard but I do love the local snacks I enjoyed during my childhood years. The bed is comfortable and the sheets and linen are fresh. They also have a car park and guests park for free. The street is quiet in the evening despite the hotel's popularity. #malaysia

This is our first visit to Kafka and I like the ambient and food here. Spaces and no disappointment on any food that we ordered. Music is so good. Its not noisy so you can have a great chilling time here with your friends. Strongly recommended for gathering to try different variety of food here. I will definitely come back again to try out other food in the menu. #malaysia

The place has very nice vibe and interior, with a rustic design and also somewhat spacious. It is well lit with natural lighting during the day. The foods were quite good, the burger was quite filling with the patty well seasoned. The fries were a bit salty though. Have to order and pay at the counter. Located along Leith Street. Street parkings are available but depending on peak hour and crowd. #malaysia

They have series of great chocolate-base cookies for people who likes chocolate the most. Highlights - Galette Des Rois and blanc (tasty vanilla sponge), and hot Cappuccino are strongly recommended.
