#Japan Attractions Hikone Castle's Genguen Garden and castle tower are famous local cultural heritages. When you come to Hikone Castle, it is recommended to take at least a whole day and afternoon to feel the aura of this ancient monument and the temperament of the park. There are multiple entrances to the historic site, and we chose to enter the park from the Black Gate entrance of Jingui Park. The entrance fee is 800 yen. There are different trails in the park where you can walk slowly in the woods, listen to the birds singing, and feel the phytoncides of spring.
