#summerdestinations Travel month: February Weather: Sunny with chances of 🌧 Hotel: Mercure Bali Nusa Dua Transportation: Private car with driver (5 pax for approx. 50-70k IDR a day - Prices may vary) ✨️ Day 1: We were able to take advantage of the daily complimentary scheduled shuttle from the hotel towards the beach, attraction sites, and shopping area nearby. It is definitely worth it! 📍Nusa Dua Beach 📍Garden of Hope, Peninsula Island 📍Water Blow site 📍Bali Collection - lots of restaurants and shops to choose from! ✨️Day 2: We decided to visit some of the popular places using our own itinerary. To make travelling easier, book a private car with a driver online or in the hotel desk at least a day prior. 📍GWK 📍Pura Tanah Lot 📍Atlas Beach club ✨️Day 3: To see the iconic "Gates of Heaven", We left the hotel as early as 5 o'clock as it will take us almost 3 hours to travel by car. We then visit some of the photoworthy locations along the way. 📍Gate of Heaven Lempuyang Temple (Spent half a day in here) 📍Taman Tirta Gangga 📍Bali Swing Ubud ✨️Day 4: We opt in to have some fun and experience some of the memorable activities in Bali. 📍Bali Zoo: Elephant expedition and feeding. 📍 ATV quad bike experience 📍Monkey Forest: Selfie op with a monkey 📍Tegenungan Waterfall - Although the stairs take 168 steps down to the waterfall, it is very challenging to go back up! Also, we were warned not to swim here at all costs. ✨️Day 5: Free day. We decided to go back to Atlas Beach Club and then went shopping for souvenirs. Bali is an ultimate summer destination. As it can get really hot and humid all year round, make sure to bring appropriate and weather permitted clothing. Also, don't forget to wear sunscreen and protective clothing or items. Penataran Agung Lempuyang Temple is a sacred Hindu temple dedicated to worshiping Ida Sang Hyang Widi Wasa who manifests as Lord Icwara,This temple is located on the island of East Bali in the city of Karangasem, Abang sub-district, Tribuana village. Located at the top of Bisbis Hill, a temple overlooking Mount Agung.Penataran Agung Lempuyang Temple is considered part of the temple complex around Mount Lempuyang, one of the most revered temples in Bali.Apart from being a holy place, Lempuyang Temple is also famous for its photography spots. There are several large split gates with unique statues overlooking the backdrop of Mount Agung.

Heaven's Gate at Lempuyang Temple during sunrise was the best idea ever! Although, it is rainy season and there wasn't much of a sunrise, we were able to capture the view of the volcano in the background. The reflection from the photographer's mirror made the mountain look like a big blue and green globe. 💙 Our tour guide Roby suggested an early arrival and drove through one of the most dangerous roads in pitch black to get us there safely. Because of his direction, we were number 15 and waited only 15 minutes to take our photos. Each number represents a group and could take hours, but ours was fast and painless. I queued for about an hour to get my perfect shot, but it was definitely worth the wait. The moment I stood there, the beauty of the place took my breath away. It’s one of those spots where the pictures don’t even do justice—the atmosphere is serene, and you can’t help but feel awe-inspired by the surroundings. If you’re visiting Bali, make sure to carve out some time to experience the Gates of Heaven. The wait is part of the adventure, and the reward is definitely worth it for one of the most stunning photo opportunities you can find on the island.

Bali is really awesome. I went there in July and it is the best to visit this island between July and October. The weather was really good, warm and dry. I spent 10 days in Bali and I guess it was not enough. I suggest you visit at least 15 days. My itinerary: Ubud - 4 days Seminyak - 5 days Nusa Penida - 1 day. Ubud is a must visit part of Bali. Here you can visit a lot of cultural and historical buildings, markets, different restaurants. You can feel real Balinese culture in Ubud. There are a lot of small and convenient hotels around Ubud which starts from 15$. While visiting Ubud, I strongly suggest you to visit Rice fields, Gate of heaven, waterfalls and chocolate factory beach which can be a bit far but comfortable to go from Ubud. Seminyak is more vibrant and energetic than Ubud. There are a lot beach clubs, nightclubs and different restaurants. We visited Potatohead beach club which was amazing. Even though it was pricey it was worthwhile. Nusa Penida was my biggest regret. Why I spent only 1 day there? It was my last day in Bali but time was so little I could not enjoy Nusa Penida enough. I regret I haven’t planned much time for Nusa Penida. i suggest to soend at least 3 days there. This was probably my favourite tour. We had to wake up super early 😩and live our hotel at 5 am in the morning 🤷🏽♀️. We got there so early yet it was super packed. Instagram tour they call it. Absolutely beautiful not exactly what I expected but truly beautiful. Again Bali with the hills 😩

a must visit temple when traveling to Bali Ubud(a beauty) #lempuyangTemple Firstly the rules themselves require positive energy, positive thoughts and respect so it’s really a wholesome experience. You can pray, meditation and just sit and enjoy the beautiful view of the foggy mountain behind but, please bare in mind, YOU REALLY HAVE TO WAKE UP EARLY 😭to make it on time for the queue, it gets packed(we got there at 6am and we were already number 84 for the pictures). I had a great time and the people that work at the temple can help take AMAZING pictures( yeah that’s my favorite part about Bali).#girlstrip #tripndip

Visit this temple early! There will be a long que of people. The tour we were on had us wake up at 2 am, left at 3 am, and arrive at 4 am and the venue doesn’t open till 5:30 😂. We got the first ticket so I guess it was worth it to get it out of the way!#ubud #trip #bali

it was a very nice experience in bali exactly in gate of heaven temple. my trip it was in spring month of April so the weather it was amazing a little humidity and temperature was about 30 degrees i have used a scooter to reach the temple the nature was amazing on the road from my hotel in Ubud. there is to much people in the temple waiting to take pictures in the gate of heaven my number was so far so I didn’t wait for it i’m just walked around and take pictures and relaxing with nature. i love it #bali #gatesofheaven #ubud #indonesia
