Western Sichuan Hiking - Wenchuan Wolong | Try taking deep breaths at the cloud-top pasture
Compared to staying at home, I prefer to go out.
They ask why I still hike so much when there are so many mountains⛰ back home.
But, can one mountain⛰ be the same as another?
Just like people are different from each other, so are the mountains.
This time, it was to the Cloud Middle Pasture.
On the cloud top, overlooking the entire pasture,
Cattle, sheep, trees, and the people climbing,
Here, you can breathe deeply without any concerns.
It's really different from the city.
No car exhaust, no industrial pollution emissions,
Only the fresh air of the mountains.
I remember it was a rainy day when we went hiking.
The rain kept drizzling all the way.
My friends and I, wearing raincoats, were still enthusiastic,
Running, jumping (the altitude is not high), chatting, and breathing...
Grateful to be far from the city's heat, the complex flow of people subsides.
At that moment, fully enjoying nature, feeling nature,
Feeling the pulse of life at that moment.
So I always say, always say,
I don't like staying at home, I want to see more of the world.
Although the road I've traveled is still short, my world is still small,
But I hope my world can gradually grow larger,
Large enough that when I'm old, I can sit in a rocking chair and slowly reminisce,
Tell my stories to the next generation,
Or just sit and reminisce about the years gone by.
Cloud Middle Pasture address: Navigate to Wenchuan Longmen Inn in Wenchuan Wolong, there is a parking lot, walk about 100 meters to reach the transfer station entrance (round-trip ticket 30+ garbage cleaning fee 15, it seems). Take the shuttle to the fork, left to Cloud Middle Pasture, right to Ganhaizi.
